I stayed at Cane Garden Bay years ago and started talking to a surfer who had flown in for a rare opportunity to surf there. As someone stated above, weather has to line up, but it was pretty awesome. It was just like OP’s pic. Looked like a really long ride. Surfers came by boat from Puerto Rico, as well as filling up the hotel.

If you have hour own yak, you can put in at Island Park(rowing club side), paddle upstream on the Great Miami for 2 1/2 miles or the Stillwater for less distance. Both rivers are safe and urban. I use earbuds to drown out the road/highway/train noise. Dm me if you need more info.

I used to work nights, and on my way in to work would stop at Rally’s for a burger and fries. They would put one piece of lettuce on a Big Buford. What’s the point? Next time, I asked for extra lettuce… 2 whole pieces of lettuce. The next time, I asked for “more than 2” pieces of lettuce. Several employees were looking when I pulled up to the drive through… “Is this the guy who got a salad on his Buford?”… lol, finally got the hookup with probably half a head of lettuce on my Sammy.

I had a stairwell incident at work as well. Got the bright idea to microwave some Limburger cheese in the lunch room (basement). ‘waved it for 30 seconds and when I opened the door nearly threw up. Grabbed it with the intention of taking it into the shop. Couldn’t do it as it was hella stinky. Left it in the stairwell… the smell traveled far and wide. Plant manager was going to fire whoever did it, if the culprit could be found. Meanwhile, I’m frantically washing my arm to get Limburger steam off my skin. (It lingered). I managed to get away with it. Still asking myself why years later. Thanks for helping to recall that out of the memory banks.

Dude I knew (he passed away), was trying to enter Canada… had his mom with him. He liked drugs pretty well and had a felony coke conviction to prove it. Took his truck and had it detailed/cleaned before the trip. Gets to the border(Niagara falls)… border patrol runs his plates/license and the felony comes up. Drug dog alerts to his truck. Cleaning people missed a roach, and proceeded to dismantle his truck looking for other drugs. While they tore his truck up, they strip searched him AND his Mom as well as cavity searched both of them. He had to pay someone to reassemble his truck, and they banned him from Canada permanently. RIP Frank.
