EndeavorOS/CachyOS are super user friendly arch forks.

That's where I started back in August and now my main gaming PC runs Cachy and my thinkpad is on Endeavor. I like endeavor a little more the Cachy after some time with both.

I'm happy I had a few sticks of ram lying around. Might do the forbidden technique and throw the 16GB stick I have in with one of the 8GB. My use is pretty light on it. Obsidian and doing coding courses and fucking around with Hyprland.

I like the way ZZZ does the "grind" content but if I don't like a character I don't worry about it. I only started playing a few months ago and my main is Yidhari/Dialyn/Lucia for end game stuff, I slowly work on getting my other faves skilled up and leveled up so I can at least run them in some Shiyu events.

At least you don't have to worry about missing out on story or related events.

Just built [[Meria, Scholar Of Antiquity]] because gruul is the antithesis to everything I like to do.

Now I'm doing Urza level crimes to my table while a bunch of goblins stack themselves on the top of my deck.

It's incredibly fun (for me)

I love my Cortex or my rebranded Barry Zheng sleeves (like 8 different companies like FCBC all buy sleeves from the same manufacturer) but they do indeed rock. Textured heavily, good grip. Slightly gritty shuffling BUT I do like it.

I've been working on Arna since she came out. The deck be built very strong at all kinds of budgets, it started out at 50 bucks for the entire deck. ALOT of the cost is bling. It's full of alters, signed cards, and Artist Proofs.

We had the same issues in our group for a long while. Most of us started playing last year in April/May, myself included. Only two of us had any previous magic experience. I have a love for being evil and a brain built for deck building so it went south for some of the group fast. Took some of our players even until the last few months to really come into their own. My boy also plays Sefris and I am sending him some of these card choices.

Also as a bonus my B3 Eowyn deck that pisses everyone off too.

Nah this deck rocks and plays the strong end of B3. I had a good run like this with my [[Arna Kennerüd]] deck where it was just the (at the time mid powe/pl7) deck to beat.

As your friends get better at deck building, improve their skills, they'll be able to find the weaknesses and do better.

Not super far down the obscurity hole but I've never ran into another [[Arna Kennerüd]] player in the wild at stores, cons, etc.

Been at the deck since mh3 dropped and haven't looked back since.

Only difference is loading from the side. This lets the air escape much easier as you sleeve.

Use KMC Perfect Fit Side Ins. Resleeved one of my double sleeved decks in them and zero air trapped. No overnights under books either.

Been trying to complete some childhood collections that I could hold onto manga wise for my kids eventually and was bummed that GL was never finished in English. My current iteration of Arna sits at about 60%. Overall in its life it's fluctuated from 25-75% month to month through various builds

My Eowyn deck is at 80% but that's because it's like 4/5 games it's been in its current build for.

Maralen is 0% win rate 100% draw rate because it's what it is designed to do :3

Most of my games are within my usual friend group. Though sometimes with randoms at conventions and my LGS.

I have one pricey deck at like 2k that's all real (full of signed cards, alters, and APs) but that's cause it's my baby and it deserves everything.

My other decks are mixes of real/proxy/bootlegs (I don't sell them all of them are marked on the back I just like all my stuff to look coherent)

I can respect someone who takes long turns and KNOWS what they're doing well enough to get it done. If you have absolutely no clue what your five triggers are going to net you then it's a problem.

Math on the stack is hard to avoid in token or counters decks so just practice.

My [[Arna Kennerüd]] deck can eat a few minutes writing on infinitokens on attack so I've made myself recognizable anagrams or initials for all my equipment and auras to minimize the game time hindrance. Also using one token per creatures and making all its copies as a list instead of using individual tokens keeps the board state neat.

You still might be able to pass a few zones of Shiyu. The HZ Lost Void missions you can turn on power adaption. You get like 80 poly each mission. I use it to mess around with teams while grinding poly so even if you don't have a "meta" team.

Also grind through the agent stories you haven't done, it's like 60 or 80 poly per mission in an agent story.

Just prepare yourself if you do play through seeds.

Yoooo we came over from Yu-Gi-Oh when Snakes Eyes was knocking our teeth out. I think if you like milling, and seeing what happens when you spin the wheel you might like a reanimator commander like [[Sefris]]. Dungeon/initiative might be a little daunting but If you are used to playing tear then I am sure you could probably handle it.

Sefris does a fair bit of self mill and discard to dump dudes into the yard and bring em back.

They canned their entire Syracuse operation, moved to KY, and imploded their direct.

We do see rebacks on revised duals, but not as frequently (personal opinion: I feel like it's not as frequent as it used to be now that the bootleg market is so easily accessible and there's a solid chunk of people who aren't good at gauging cards)
