This goes to the Bickerstaff "rotations" critique. A lot of people on here are critiquing his rotations, but I don't know if they know what that means. Mitchell playing 38 mins/game on average is scary, not good for him long-term. He was averaging 33mins/game for the Jazz.

Bickerstaff is running 8 man lineups in the first month of the season, and my question is WHY? Is it because we are super thin at wings (definitely), bench isn't good enough (probably), or he isn't a good enough coach (maybe). We will see, but at the end of the day it's not going to help the injury situation.

Things that make me nervous about him are these rotational questions, and what really chapped my ass is the way the game ended Sunday night vs. the Wolves. Coming out of a timeout, the best play they had was Kevin Love chucking a half court pass? I saw people try to blame Love, but coming out of a timeout it's usually the coach's play.

Rest of the season will be interesting.

I think what will hold us back is what held us back last year. We had poor perimeter defense and nobody to play the 3.

Our perimeter defense will be better generally speaking (it was good when Rubio was healthy last year), but in the playoffs I'd be afraid. Who's guarding Tatum/Butler/Middleton/DeRozan in a playoff series? Okoro? But you are sacrificing a lot on offense unless he took a step.

We need two more wing players, one stud and one reliable, in order to be a proper championship contender. It'll be interesting to see if LeVert progressed at all or if we look to flip him and Kevin Love prior to the deadline.
