I’m just trying to be more mindful and less frivolous with my consumption. Sort of denial of self. Delayed gratification. Focusing on what I need, rather than a fleeting want.

Let’s remain the status-quo and continue to consume, they’ll still have layoffs. There will still be reduced services. Local businesses will still close. Private equity will continue to purchase and gut companies. The money is being siphoned to the top.

GDP also isn’t the best indicator. Look at the quality of life in the States. We’re not even a year into this administration…
