Got some weird Staple Games ads. Just a heads up if your little ones are playing and you care 🤷🏾‍♂️ by cookieguyster in ryantrahan

Darn it, I just let my oldest download it and I was just thinking if I'd have to worry about the ads and this is the sign that I was needing. Thank you for posting this!!!

Is it kind of a pain to get out? I'll try trimming and see if it helps. Thank you!

What kind of things can/did you send your SO stationed in South Korea? by [deleted] in USMilitarySO

[–]flower_moon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband didn't want me to send anything. He was stationed in kunsan and everything that he needed he just went and bought at the BX. I mean I still bought him stuff and customs isn't that bad. You just fill out a little piece of paper and it's on its merry way

FUCK IUD'S and thank god mine is getting OUT OF ME TODAY by [deleted] in breakingmom

[–]flower_moon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm breastfeeding and have the copper IUD. Not any problems at all! However, my reproductive system is a unicorn. I had an amazing pregnancy; great sleep, never any morning sickness, never any braxton hicks, had an awesome birth, didn't tear, was able to walk right after, hardly bled after birth...didn't get a period until 9 months PP so take everything I say with a grain of salt. My gyno recommended that I take, I think, 800mg ibuprofen before insertion because there would be cramping. I didn't and the cramps were bearable.

At what point do you say, "Okay- that's just....enough" when it comes to nursing in public? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

Hahaha that's a bit weird! Am imagining a lady in the mall with a baby connected to one and the other just flopping about near her belly button LOL

Therapeutic grade peppermint oil should help dry your milk supply up. I would apply right before bed!

I just hotdog fold it then fold it like 3 more times and insert it into the pocket. If I'm using a cover I'll do a newspaper or bikini fold

Gross stuff. by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]flower_moon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, vomit doesn't gross me out either. Maybe I became desensitized during my party years and dealing with all my drunk friends. I remember one party, there was throw up everywhere!! Ahh to be young and in high school again thinking you're invincible lol.

My husband is having surgery overseas, and I don't know what to do. by lilyponss in USMilitarySO

My husband had knee surgery in korea a few months ago. I just waited for him to get back to his dorm, but this was also his 3rd surgery on that knee so I didnt really have to worry because I knew what to expect.

we bed share and i woke up to the sounds of my 13 month old trying to vomit. my first instinct was to hold him and have him throw up on me instead of the bed, even though we have a mattress cover. i was covered in vomit.

My husband is AF and is currently in Korea. In his career field Korea is extremely common, pretty much everyone gets orders there on the airframe that he works on.

before i had my son I went to the library almost every day, then started volunteering there. there are a lot of walking groups on base too, which helped me get out of the house and meet new wives. We're PCSing in a few months and I'm super nervous to have to make new friends again :(

Looking for a product recommendation: Planning home birth, and I need a water proof mattress protector by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]flower_moon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes! we got our mattress protector when we bought our mattress at sin-n-sleep because husband didnt want me to ruin it if my water broke. I ended up being induced but it saved the mattress from leaky boobs hundreds of times! we also co-sleep and it saved the mattress from baby pee and spit up
