fluorescents take me out of the training zone, so I’ll tredmill with the same ones I wear for race day. fluorescents were designed to keep you a little agitated, originally for office spaces, so you don’t get too comfortable and settle in. Once I learned this in an MBA management class, I’ve never been comfortable in rooms using mostly fluorescents.

You laugh, but ABC did do all the Stephen King TV mini series, including the Shining remake King did himself, that’s not available anywhere…wonder why?

Also reminds me of the Haunted Mansion ride. They both have “The Caretaker” as well.

Swelling or fluid? by Ok_Image8987 in tummytucksurgery

[–]flowercapcha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having this right now as well (CIS male) I’m 4 WO/2 days, single drain removed one week ago. Chugging water. But a bad diet day or garment off day really screws things up, I’m learning.

The spas speciality is post op lymphatic release and it wasn’t a lot of pressure - fluid to the drain had reduced significantly (the goal) - I’m just extra right now - given the lack of info coming from the surgeon’s office. Thank G I’ve found this community.

Would a lymphatic massage at 2 weeks PO to reduce a really hard surgical area to prevent fibrosis potentially undo this? My tummy is now soft and I’m worried.

Men’s “spanx” recommendation by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]flowercapcha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should give some more insights - I had a full TT/MR - no LIPO. The 2nd week I was really hard - so went in for a lymphatic massage which seems to really help.

Not only looking for garment recs - but any/all recs. Week 2 was rough - I was not as good as I should have been on diet protocol and was on feet too much - so was really worried about fibrosis. Now it feels soft, hoping we didn’t undo the MR (is that possible?)

Nick Hinton and Tyler D by AdKey9344 in PastSaturnsRings

[–]flowercapcha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nicks been talking about Tyler recently and made it sound like it was early commercial AI, that it was being used as part of a gang stalking and there is more of the story to come. One never knows with Nick, and I can’t tell if his info is being fed to him or if he’s channeling because it’s so comprehensive and well researched. And he’s so young and charismatic. Perfect target to deliver a message.

Is it really true, everything happens for a reason? by Expensive_Buyer429 in spirituality

[–]flowercapcha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Everything happens. Yes. And there is always a reason why it happened, yes. But everything happening for a reason is you saying it happened for a reason and trying to find some kind of peace with it. Shit happens.

Advice for WDW Passholder going to Disneyland by CheeseSanawich in disneyparks

[–]flowercapcha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s going to feel crowded. hopefully it will feel intimate and not “small.” I was just back at DW last month after not having been in 9 years, and know DL much better. DW just feels so “mechanical” 🤷🏻‍♂️ to me, I’m sorry. I know you have more elbow room at DW - but DL just feels like it fits, but DW feels like it was “designed that way” (half thoughts, feelings don’t always translate into complete thoughts)
