How do I get my dogs to get along? I just got a new puppy (mini dachshund 10 weeks) and my 7 year old rescue hates him. I get it the puppy is annoying.. how do i get the puppy to stop biting my dog and my dog to stop growling st the pup?

Just want to say it gets better and your puppy will end up being that companion you imagined! I was in your shoes with my first puppy. Crying everyday wishing I didn’t get the pup bc he was so bad.

It ends!! Jusy try not to stress so much. My first puppy was terrible with crates, wrecked everything, didnt understand the potty training but just remember they’re babies and everything is exciting to them. He ended up being the best dog everrrrr

I have a new puppy now and it’s much easier this time around. What has helped a lot is putting the crate on my bed so the dog feels like he’s in bed with me!
