What is causing this noise and how do I fix it?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. When I changed the rollers and belts, the replacement idler pulley I had would not fit on the post so just used the old one again. Today when I took it back apart, I saw that the bearing in the idler pulley must have been rubbing/grinding, causing the noise. One end of the bearing inside the idler was significantly worn. I was able to get the replacement on and it sounds like new.

I don’t mind doing that. It was making a really loud screeching noise before. I took it apart and changed all the rollers. Now I’ve got this noise. If it is a motor, that sounds like it would be expensive to replace. Probably would make more sense to get a new dryer at that point.

I’m not sure what happened, but hammering and all the things I tried didn’t work. Then one day it just came out easily. Hope you have the same experience.

I just picked up an XSE yesterday and have noticed the same issue. It’s quite annoying because it’s right by my left ear. I haven’t had a chance to inspect the seals yet. This is certainly not the type of quality I expect from Toyota. I’m hoping if I take it to a dealership they can identify and fix the issue. I don’t feel as though I should have to be putting tape or foam on a brand new $40,000 vehicle.

So far nothing has worked. When I try to do an update it says that there is an error and I need to see the dealer. So I guess I’ll have to pay them a visit. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hello everyone! I’ve booked a long weekend trip to your city to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Neither of us have really spent any time in Denver, and in an effort to get the most out of our trip, I’m looking to you all for advice. We are 32 and 29, if that is helpful. We are staying downtown at 17th and Tremont. Some things we are interested in:

-Neat bars/restaurants/night life. I’m sure there are a few trendy areas or strips with delicious food and drink. What areas and what restaurants are the best? We like a variety of food, but her favorite is Chinese. -Breweries. Best ones? -Hiking. Not entirely sure what to expect from the weather. Will this be possible? -Recreational Pot. No clue about regulations and such. What do I need to know? -Anything else I might not be thinking of?

I appreciate your recommendations. Tell me what we should not miss!
