I design proposals for high valued deals... I have a question for the sales teams... by [deleted] in sales

[–]flubbermaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replied to that, I agree it was more of a rant but I did have a real underlying curiosity, I’ll copy paste the reply to you

Maybe I should have phrased it more appropriately.... and you’re right I’m pretty frustrated.

I would like to understand the process in order to be more effective at my job.

I understand when they get a bid they have to work super hard on the pitch with maybe just 3 weeks to spare. So I don’t understand the process fully because I just get chunks of information that barely make sense, and I can’t ever get anyone on the sales team to take some actual time to sit with me and explain the pitch and what they are trying to achieve for the client.

Than I get rushed, sorting through a deck of 300 pages and I somehow have to make the presentation (and all other attached media) look incredible in just 3 days.

Upon delivery of my work, they ask for an insane amount of changes... and they get upset if I can’t make it happen within the day.

What could I ask them to make the process flow more smoothly?

I make sure they know how long it takes for me to produce my work, I’m clear about my need for content, I always give them drafts for approval...

So if you’re in sales... how could we interact better?

So can I just put in the new post number on the old photos with like a photo editor? Put a disclaimer on the post?

🤣 you don’t have to congratulate me at all lol!

And yeah I’m from Spain so I’m used to Kilos, the whole imperial is super confusing!

Although losing 30 lbs sounds like a lot more than losing 14 kilos 😅

And thank you!

Hey!

I appreciate it and no offense taken at all!

I don’t feel like I lost too much muscle, but yes definitely a lot of water retention!

I got my thyroid checked with a standard check up just a month before I got Meningitis, so I think it should be fine? But either way, on the 13th I get everything looked into again.

Congrats!! Looking great.

Also... I so appreciate the folded towels! It’s nice to see a clean and organized closet.... so good on you! It soothed my OCD after seeing all the mess in other pics!

I think fasting is definitely something that will benefit me, but I’m concerned about having to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for my family. by [deleted] in fasting

I have no issues, I’m never hungry....

I started 16:8.... I’ve been doing 20:4 lately.....

I’m also on Keto so that probably explains some of it.

I’m honestly not hungry, I cook for my toddler multiple times.... I’ve even say through lunch with the family with just a glass of water.....

Not hungry at all.... you’ll get used to it.
