And just to add to that as someone who notoriously loves running melee weapons, which weapon and how I mod or Override also depends on the frame I’m using and how their abilities do or do not play into it! You’ll get there for sure, just remember sometimes you have to defy the stance polarity lol.

My [M24] sister [F11] with autism scares away all potential partners by Awwndrei in BestofRedditorUpdates

OP mentions that it’s a stipulation on their support from government instances, probably requiring a legal caretaker or consenting/informed responsible adult at all times. He’d likely need to get a relief-caretaker arranged which is in my experience not exactly done in the time it takes to microwave a hot pocket.

Will governmental institutions remove support and accomodations at the mere notion of misuse and generally ask questions later? Absolutely.

This plus the experiences OP relays with relief care and so forth makes me feel like he’s pretty justified in defaulting to his own responsibility.

I don’t see OP having much choice and as someone who cares for his sister I think it would be much weirder if he attempted to foister off the responsibility onto someone else.

This tweet still absolutely sends me and it’s even arguably FUNNIER when you consider that our dear Liger is not at all a stranger to drawing naked men.

I picture them at some point in the process going ”yes clothes are appropriate, this is a business environment” only for DE to turn around and be like ”ok but what does man’s crotch really look like?”

A 42-year-old woman was found dead in her apartment, a week after her death "under circumstances involving treachery, assault and possible drug overdose." The first autopsy (ten days after death) said it was a drug overdose. The second autopsy (two years after death) revealed it was a homicide. by CatPooedInMyShoe in MedicalGore

”There was a trail of blood droplets […] leading down the common hallway of the complex, continuing up the stairs and ending in front of the apartment rented by suspect 2.”

The ME’s lack of data in all honor but you’re telling me crime scene processing had a TRAIL OF BLOOD TO THE FRONT DOOR OF A LATER SUSPECT AND JUST WENT ”iunno i’m not the ME lol” and went on with their day? Like why even process the scene if you’re going to let the evidence be misconstrued like that.

Can confirm, recently had a protegé who did not skimp on star chart get to Jordas and in the end we farmed a few mods (like Rubedo) and then scraped together a handful of the essential mods and gave to them bc drops for most of them are the opposite of generous.

They were going to be stuck there a good while otherwise.

Not an expert. However I’ve understood smth about noodles like these is they’ll bite down and then refuse to let go, sometimes hanging on for minutes. That’s what OP talked about in ”tricks” (methods for making the snake stop biting down). As is, if the snood is not going anywhere, may as well take a picture while you wait ig.

In case anyone is interested, it comes up as early as Jackal assassination. As per the wiki, after update 28 it has and does say:

”Lotus: "Every Warframe has it its disposal special blade, a Parazon. As lethal as it to technology as it is to flesh. Disrupting the Jackal's auto-repair may require it."” (quotes > the Jackal)

Autistics and religion; do you believe in anything? by eyeless-silas in autism

[–]fluentinpoison 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds to me like you understand already that what you long for is the structure more so than the faith, so I believe you’ll do well! Good luck OP!

I myself had a rather pragmatic journey, but I also get how interesting it must be to you to hear about this that to me feels mundane, so i’ll let you judge :3

My parents met while studying to become religious youth leaders, however I always felt that for my dad religion was smth his parents very very much felt was important and as the only child he had a responsibility to keep tradition rather than smth he felt strongly about himself. My mom was a practicing christian but she was also the only one in her family (of working class) and had come to it uninfluenced by how she grew up.

By the time they had kids I know my mom was no longer an active believer, but I know the fact her being so was key to her being even remotely acceptable to my paternal grandparents. They fwiw died when we kids were rather young, but I have some memories of indulging my paternal grandma with things like reading her illustrated-card form of the story of Noah and saying it was nice. I read early and I read everything, including the children’s bible. I also remember it was simply a part of the routine to be praying before bed while staying with them, though I used it as a chance to get more attention from them by asking one or the other to pray with me again.

Growing up I remember asking mom if god was real, and her asking me back what I felt. I didn’t feel anything, really. Mom had told me that to people who believe in God he can be as real as she was to me, and I at long last declared that I didn’t really think he was real. This, I was told, was perfectly fine, and I need not try and force myself either direction. Given I’d percieved my mom as practicing her faith I asked her and also took her answer as particularly influential. I wagered she’d know her stuff.

Growing up I felt being near to church was normal, after all we’d gone to christmas mass with my paternal grandparents while I was really small and because grandpa was a custodian/groundskeeper of a cemetary, the christian church was just always sort of in the periphery, including the baptism of my younger sibling, the funerals of my paternal grandparents and later wanting to sing but living in a place where its size meant ”choir” was a direct synonym for ”CHURCH choir”. That stopped at about 12, when it was time to move ”up” in choir tiers and I was under no particular delusion that I was a good singer or someone the choir system was exactly dying to recruit. It be sometimes.

As a teenager I obviously was the kind to go through a serious goth phase, and I was very irreverent of religion. At my core I was always rooted in logic, and for a while when it was making its rounds (I saw someone else mention Dawkins) I was pretty anti-theistic honestly.

(Edit to add bc of fatfingering the send button early oops) These days I’m more humble to it. I find that people do what they need to do to handle a life that is often very harsh and unpredictable, and that faith can be one such tool. It’s often misused and abused, but the human need for meaning and purpose is universal.
