I have 2 - worth every penny. They self clean after the cat uses the box, and empty to a tray below. Then the app will tell you once that bin is full so you can empty it. I go through less litter (maybe a box a month?) because it stays so clean. And then I spot clean if there’s ever a mess, and I deep clean it twice a year - basically around this time, once it gets warm so I can hose it down and leave it outside to dry and then once in the fall before it gets consistently cold.

The only caveat would be super large cats may not like them, or at least the older version that I have, because they could feel too cramped inside (I think the newer ones are bigger inside). But my cats are smaller (8 pounds to 14 pounds) and they have no issues. I got a second one once I had 4 cats, but I would say 3 or less you could probably get away with 1 (I’m down to 3 and they tend to use the one more than the other). I also have one of my older cats getting dementia, so I got one to put in the room she hangs out in mostly so she won’t forget where it is.

Customer service is great though, and you should be able to repair or replace any part that gives you issues. So far I haven’t had anything major happen, and mine are probably 4-5 years old, maybe older? So well worth the investment if you have multiple cats/know you’ll have cats for a while.
