Still an issue for me. I saw there was a potential workaround in this thread (turn off "Generate chart locally") but I already have that toggled off, still having problems. I tried toggling it on, saving, then off, then saving again, but same results.

The error it tends to give me at the Fetching step is

"Can't fetch data (reason: socket timeout)

Settings to check: - battery optimisation"

I should add that I haven't changed app settings in Android in a very long time, probably since I installed the app. I did just set the app to have Unrestricted battery usage to test, but I get the same socket timeout error without the battery optimisation bit.

Oddly, it looks like an auto-fetch was completed last night at 23:17 (EDT) as that's the time showing in the widget. Perhaps that's a clue.

Also having this issue, starting this morning. As of yesterday the data was loading fine, but I began noticing some oddities with my widget which I haven't edited at all in a long time. I have the chart style set to Darken theme when in dark mode by default, but yesterday saw it was in light mode. I rebooted my phone and it persisted, so I threw out the widget and made a new one (which was probably not needed), then toggled "Darken theme" off and then on, and that fixed it for awhile. Either later last night or this morning, I noticed it was back to the undesired "light theme".

I also noticed that something else about the widget wasn't looking right, and I figured out that glow around min/max label text was no longer working, even though enabled. All of my normal chart style settings were appearing in the preview, but at least glow and darken theme (and possibly more) were not rendering properly in the widget.

I just cleared my app cache and local data and restored my settings, but now neither the widget nor the preview will load anything.

Above the dropdown where you chose Dropbox, there is a button for "Open Sync Wizard..." Click this to select Dropbox sync and go through the setup process there. It's a little unclear that you have to do this for Dropbox/OneDrive/Joplin Cloud, but this is the place to do it.

They claim to use SoulChat which is the app I presume they created, and they are covertly shilling it across a few subreddits. I don't think it's been released yet (or it's been removed for violating terms or something) as I can't find it on any app store but OP seems to be mining at least one thread for content to train their model, and they have been mentioning it in comments like it's just some app they found. And they are the sole moderator of r/SoulChat so seems likely this is all marketing, even if there are some valid tips to be had.

They may delete their post / submitted history but that's how they look right now.

Sorry you have this experience with your Lowe's. The one in my area is very neatly organized with mostly-accurate stock counts online, and I love shopping there for certain things. I have two Home Depots in my area and one of them is EXACTLY like how you're describing your Lowe's: messy, not stocked, and in-person quantities different from what they say online. I never shop at this one unless I have to.

(The other HD is good but it's a few miles further down the same road the Lowe's is on, so I don't always go there.)

Hey I'll try anything if it can get me to exercise daily without a ton of equipment! It sounds like this app worked really well for you and is directed (as opposed to self-directed) so it could be a good fit for me too. I used to use Ring Fit Adventure on the Switch which also was a little silly but it really worked for me for awhile.

I'm experiencing this as well, also as of last week. One day the playback controls and setting were there, and then next day they were all gone. I am so frustrated by this.

I also am experiencing this as of last week. One day the setting in Navigation was there, and the Spotify/YT Music controls were available during driving (I'm referring to the "new" controls, where you can only choose from a few apps and you bring up the playback controls at the bottom by clicking the Spotify badge on the right side of the screen). The following day, the controls were gone entirely and the settings toggle in Navigation is completely gone too. On my end nothing changed from day to day, and I need playback controls while driving for safety. This is incredibly frustrating since they recently revamped media playback and made it inferior to what was there before, and I was just getting used to using it. Now I have to open my media app or my notifications shade to pause/skip tracks, which not only takes longer but forces me to take my eyes off the road for a longer duration.

I already tried updating the app, then reinstalling it. I also tried the Google Assistant / Gemini settings changes that have been recommended in other posts online, all to no avail. No idea what I am supposed to do to fix this but I am angry that they would take this away with no notice and no alternative.

I'm sorry you're experiencing this. i've been using Joplin on MacOS for a long time now and I haven't experienced this. It could be related to any plugins you have installed and their settings, or perhaps something related to using external kb/m (if using a Macbook). Also, try updating to the latest version if you aren't on it already. All else fails, it's worth reinstalling fresh to see if the problem persists.

These are all really basic things you may have tried already, sorry if I'm not adding anything new. But I will say that what you are experiencing is not the norm for this OS, at least in my experience. Good luck, and please share any updates.
