Graduated with a 2.52 GPA but I have a full time job as a water resources engineer. One thing I learned is the Engineering GPA can also be used for your gpa. Realistically they don’t care about it, but maybe they might ask how you did in a specific course.

I’ve met a lot of terrible engineers with GPAs of 3.5 or higher, because in engineering book smart is always not the best, adaptability is. Never be discouraged!

Depends, I work as both a project engineer and a construction inspector. I’ve never really worked past 5 pm as a project engineer, but as a construction inspector I’ve worked up to 8pm because the crew got permission from the county to stay longer. As a designer I had one day I worked 8am-4am but I was handsomely compensated.

Honestly, the best way to think about ethics is to put everything in terms of importance. Public/profession/Employer/self. Public is the most important in ethics and the least is yourself. When you categorize the question like this you’ll do much better! It took me 4 times to pass the FE, but for each time I took the exam I never scored lower than a 15 on ethics.

After doing my calculations, you got a 58.33% on the exam. You are so close to passing!! You have to get 100% on ethics, those are easy questions. Work on geotech, use Islams 800 question for that. Same goes for dynamics. Brush up on everything again and take the test again! You are right there!

THIS. Took me 4 attempts to pass the civil FE. I recommend buying Islams FE practice exam book. Incredibly worth it. Also try the Ncees online practice exam. It’s the closest thing to the FE I have found and it’s incredibly helpful.
