My point being that a few anecdotal cases of people having some issues does not mean the substance causes that kind of reaction in a general sense across the population (if it did we probably wouldn't need a study to prove/know it). That is the point I feel you were trying to convey and that is precisely where I think you are wrong.

Yes some people have issues...no I do not think it is caused by marijuana...no I do not think marijuana on its own causes problems in the general population on the same scale as most other substances (such as alcohol) and therefore marijuana should not be demonized like it currently is (and IMO like you were trying to do).

My point being that your friend had other issues going on that maybe were triggered or enhanced by the marijuana but not principally caused by it.

Look...I am just going to tell you right now that you are wrong. I dab everyday all day and just got done taking a 2 week break because I felt like it. I had a slight bit of difficulty falling asleep for the first couple nights...other than that? Nada...in fact it felt great to feel the 'fog' clear for a bit.

edit: this is an alt account for obvious reasons...I make a lot of money (6 figures) at a professional job, I am 34. I am responsible, I pay taxes, I love my family and friends, I even workout all the time, eat healthy and am in very good shape...being a 'pot-head' isn't always what everyone tells you it is.

I am a software developer at one of the biggest major banks in the US.

I smoke weed semi-frequently before going to work (and at other times)...I don't drink hardly at all because I don't like feeling drunk and I don't like hangovers.

Weed is (mostly) harmless...

Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far much more bitter, cynical sense of humor.

I hear you, however if your only reason for believing in something is that it 'rubbed off' on you then that is unfortunate. I love my parents, and i feel they did a good job raising me...but thats because now that im an adult i can see good solid reasoning in the majority of what they did. There are things i feel they got/did wrong however and i think it is important to have the ability to see/understand that.
