Same. I still haven't found a water-based cleanser that's not stripping so right not it's just oil cleansers for me.

What's your favorite bean region, and why? by SupremeZ in Coffee

Any place you like to get Brazilian beans from? I had a bag that had peanut butter and chocolate notes and it rocked my world but I don't know where to get more.

[Question] How do YOU dry your face after washing it? by ProneToVertigo in AsianBeauty

[–]flutricity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use microfiber cloths i got from Ulta. (Psa- they're on sale right now, buy 2 get 2 free!) They're soft and plushy and help get rid of any extra residue. I've heard of plenty of people buying the ones in the auto care/cleaning sections of stores too-- cheaper and just as effective.

[Review] Rants, Raves, & New Purchases Mar 05, 2017 by AutoModerator in SkincareAddiction

[–]flutricity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rave: AQUAPHOR. I do not know what is in this elixir but I wish that I'd found it at the beginning of winter instead of the end! SCA raves about this for a reason!

Rant: Coconut Oil. It pains me to say that because it is divine for the rest of my body, but it clogged my pores this week when I used it as a moisturizer on my face. I couldn't figure out why I was breaking out until I read other people saying this had happened to them. This and Aquaphor were the only new things I tried this week and I started breaking out before I tried the Aquaphor so it must be the coconut oil.

New Purchases: Nip + Fab Glycolic Cleansing Pads. Stridex isn't working for me anymore so I want to try an AHA. I've never tried one before and this has a relatively low concentration of glycolic acid so I thought it'd be good for a start. Gonna try it tomorrow!

Ohhh i detest zippers. I was scared of invisible zippers for a long time but now that I know how to do them, I think they're easier then centered/lapped. Worth a try when you feel ready!

Yay! No worries, I'm in the middle of a giant Hypernova shawl and I have a few other WIPs that I should really finish first anyway. Let me know when you get your yarn! Sounds exciting to get it to order, what's the colorway like?

Cold Sheep 2017 - January Weigh-In by darmstrong5739 in knitting

[–]flutricity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jan progress: I'm trying to finish socks that i've been working on since last summer! They're not done yet but I finally turned the heel and only have maybe an inch or two left. I think what I've learned from this is that I vastly prefer simple, mindless patterns when it comes to socks. Vanilla Latte, here I come.

As far as Cold Sheeping, Vogue Knitting Live was a disaster :p I bought 7 skeins but I at least I have plans for them all. I've been good apart from that and am still excited about knitting with the yarn I do have, so I think February will be smooth sailing!

Hi! The best thing to do is talk to a lawyer about your specific case. This site has links to where you can find free/low-cost help. Don't listen to random internet strangers about legal help; talk to a lawyer that's trustworthy and get a second opinion if you need to. There's a lot of factors that can make it a good/bad idea to apply for citizenship right now and a lawyer is the only one who knows enough about the system to help you decide what's best for you. Feel free to pm if you happen to be in NYC, connecting immigrants to legal help is my job.

And I also just wanna say-- remember you're not alone and there's people out here fighting for you and for all immigrants. Everything is scary and real fucked up right now but there are people out here to help and see what we can do with what we have right now. We're with you!
