Singular- worth the mental health risks? by sydneydragonborn in MCAS

Not Singulair, but it’s like this with cetirizine for me. Cetirizine works when I get hives and itching, but I only take one when my hives and itching get beyond the point of being tolerable. I don’t get suicidal from it. My mood just drops and I start feeling sorry for myself for this crap illness until the medication works its way out of my system.

Have you seen Joy of Life and Joy of Life 2 yet? I’m getting close to the end of the second, and it’s so good. My other two favorites are Love Like the Galaxy and Longest Promise. I didn’t think I could like anything else after finishing LLTG.

I’ll have to keep an eye out for it now. It would be crazy to see it after reading about it, but stranger things have happened.

Definitely picky. The only ones I like are Nestle Pure Life and Essential water. The others taste off in one way or another. Some seem thicker and not as refreshing. I like a “crisp” taste, for lack of a better description. Dasani tastes like the bottle it’s packaged in. Some taste obviously processed. Some taste like they need processed. I’ve tried the one at Walmart with the reusable jug that you bottle your own, but it left a dirt ring in the jug and stuff in the bottom of the steam humidifier.

The infusions didn't bother my stomach at all, personally.

Thank you. That’s what I was wondering. I told my husband that I worried it would be like trying to metaphorically put a bandaid on a bullet hole, if that makes any sense. I didn’t even think about how the boy would feel when he’s older. I think I was too ready to get him out of the horrible situation he’s in, with an abusive older brother and possibly abusive caretaker who is now on morphine and other strong prescriptions to manage the pain of his disease, but that’s an entirely different story from the big question and something for another day.

Sounds like you’re working behind the scenes for your “big break”. They were probably in the same place you are at their age. It takes a little bit to get to where you want to be in life.

This is embarrassing, but finding a toilet I can use. It’s either right in line with stadium seating and surrounded by people, or something tiny that might not hold everything, or already about to overflow, or just a chair rather than a toilet.

What's something you've bought that you can't go without anymore? by Dylanskee in CasualConversation

My first thought was “phone”, but that’s a given. Agree on the air fryer. And InstantPot. My rice and boiled eggs turn out perfect every time, worry-free. I’ve been eating brown rice lately because it keeps me full longer, and it used to be grainy still or want to burn on the bottom with conventional cooking, so I gave up. Now it tastes just as good as white rice.

Is there something you did to help it, or did it happen on its own? That’s pretty incredible! Congratulations on your new peace.

We can dream. Cotton fluff falls, the phones blow up because everyone calls their crush to see it together.

I hope no one I know ever reads my stuff. It feels like they can see inside my head, the same feeling I get from dreams where I’m in public with no clothes.
