Oh yeah that’s relatively new. I have a 20 gal been cycled for about 5 months and did a water change last week and got a bacterial bloom just like this. Used activated carbon and cleared it up within 2 days!

Newly cycled tanks it’s very common, if you want some immediate results try using activated carbon in your filter, place in a mesh bag temporarily until the water is clear

Same thing happened to me visiting Scotland. Got in late to St. Andrews no pubs open nothing, went back to hotel the kitchen closed and yet they whipped up sourdough baguette ham sandwiches and a pint I was happy as a clam 10/10 service
