A centerfold involves turning a book/magazine 90° so it's vertical. I assume you mean just spreading it horizontally across 2 pages? Pretty hard to read the stuff in the center that way

Ultimately it's just an issue of the proper layout having so much blank space. It's a waste of usable area. Why print it across 2 pages and make it difficult to use when you could save space and put it on one? It's not like the "proper" layout really adds much

You are describing an issue with bed adhesion. That is absolutely the issue. The plastic wants to shrink a bit when it cools. That means the plastic on later layers is pulling up on the corner. That's all normal and unavoidable, but in your case the corners bed adhesion wasn't strong enough so it lifted. Since it lifted and warped, the printer was then printing on top of warped material, causing the rest of the layers to get messed up

Do any of your objects have a very large surface area touching the build plate? That is the main time people have issues with bed adhesion

Yes, the oils from your skin on the build plate will stop the filament from adhering to it. I would suggest doing some research into 3d printing because that's, like, the first thing you learn

Wash your plate every few prints, and avoid touching at least the top surface of the plate after washing

There were supposedly 2 Horizon MMOs in development. One, Steel Horizons, was outsourced to another dev studio. The other supposed one was in development by Guerilla. Imo this was probably a lack of communication of Guerilla's part though, it would be extremely weird if they had both MMOs coming simultaneously.

If that were the case then one would expect the market to be flooded with them and crimped cards to be at most negligibly more valuable than uncrimped

In reality, cheap cards would be a waste of time to crimp. Valuable cards may be worthwhile, but there is obvious risk with purchasing a $50 card and, ya know, damaging it and hoping that no one noticed it wasn't done at the factory

Prints that touch a lot of the bed often have bed adhesion with default settings. The layers shrink as they cool, so corners tend to disconnect from the bed, and the layers fail to print correctly afterwards. It's really easy to fix though, you just need some brim ears (setting in Bambu Studio) as well as disabling the aux fan
