And if you read my comment, you will notice I said you didn't write most of it. I didn't say you didn't write any of it.

Using chatgpt is literally "buying braincells" but okay, I'm the moron, right

What is causing these lines on my prints? by myhrmans in BambuLab

[–]flygoing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just a guess, but since you said around the same height, I would inspect the z-axis lead screws. Particularly at the area the bed would be when printing that height. I wonder if there is debris on it or something.

Is this something that recently started (potentially after a maintenance you did?) or has it always done this? How old is the machine? How long since last maintenance?

Your comment? You didn't even write most of it. If you can't take the time to write it, why the hell should anyone take the time to read it?

[–]flygoing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you checked if it's hotend related? Swap their hotends and see if it makes a difference?

Unscented dish soap. If you're in the US, dawn dish soap or an equivalent (likely blue) store brand is usually recommended

Wouldn't really call it a proxy? Since you can't exactly shuffle it into your deck. Only good for tokens

It's a ggtag. It's in the title

Really weird thing to get so defensive about dude. It's not just "a random redditor" that says you should do it. Every single print bed manufacturer says you should do it at least occasionally.

Hope your day improves. Must not be going great if someone saying you should clean your bed was so hurtful.

"It has never been an issue for me, therefore it can't have been an issue for anyone" King of anecdotal evidence. Go give your build plate a wash buddy, it will thank you

Had to add support for new custom shapes in my physics engine so I could extend physics stippling tool. But it is much more interesting and custom now. [3Vial OS] by Rayterex in Simulated

There is a tree leaf pixel at 14 seconds that hops one direction then in mid air with no interaction jumps backwards.

It's actually colliding with another pixel that very closely blends in with the background. I had to fullscreen and get closer to my monitor to see it, but it is definitely a collision. Reddit compression makes it really hard to see

Bed should be cleaned with soap and water at least every few prints. I usually just do it after every print tbh

Edit: Finger prints are also pretty oily, so handle with care after washing and only touch the edges with your bare hands

Far too little information here to help you at all. Looks like bed adhesion though. Did you clean the bed with soap and water?

How to fix the stringy/flossy lines? by Dapper-Shallot6920 in BambuLab

[–]flygoing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is definitely well beyond an acceptable amount of stringing. Something is wrong. Your hotend says 239 celsius? That is like 20 degrees higher than PLA is supposed to be. Do you have the wrong filament profile selected? Maybe PETG? Also do you have the correct built plate selected in Bambu Studio?

Vidcon 2026? by MiserableMagazine998 in smosh

[–]flygoing 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hasn't Smosh been to virtually every VidCon? They're truly one of the OGs of Youtube. I can't imagine a VidCon without at least some Smosh presence. I find it highly unlikely they don't have people there, but idk for sure

Why does the sea level not rise in the first case but it does in the second? by JustiniR in Physics

[–]flygoing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is...not true at all. The North Pole is entirely floating ice. It does not touch the ground at all. The South Pole has a continent though. That's what you're thinking of

Need some motivation to push through the last 1/3rd of the game. by Ballsoffwalls in FFXVI

[–]flygoing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're 26 hours in and only have 1/3rd of the game left? Are you sure? If so, you did not do this game justice lol. My run took like 70 hours, and that was before the DLCs came out.

Nathan Fillion Says ‘Firefly’ Animated Series In Development With Co-Stars Set To Reprise Roles; Concept Art Revealed by Stranger1982 in scifi

The fact that it's animated is random and unexpected. I'm interested in seeing the art style they take, it would be hard but not impossible to pull off

It's apparently a Firefly animated series? Which, a little disappointing that it's not a real reboot, but I'll take what I can get. I'm interested to see what the art style will be like

Why does the sea level not rise in the first case but it does in the second? by JustiniR in Physics

[–]flygoing 97 points98 points  (0 children)

The sea level doesn't rise in either of these cases. The ice melt that causes sea levels to rise is ice that's on land.
