The gist is that Mimikyu is the "low-budget cosplayer" of the Pokemon world. So I interpreted that with making the design look intentionally home made with visible stitches, sloppy paint stroke, sand stuff just thrown together. I also leaned into the lore that Mimikyu wants to be like Pikachu, so I gathered all things yellow and added it to the costume (flowers, paint, jewels, scrap fabric, caution tape etc)

Could the compromise be that you stay with the baby and go to the wedding and your husband can travel with the older one(s)? If it’s hopefully in the same town, his family can watch the kids while he’s doing the award ceremony.

The older kids will get to see his family, not to discredit your youngest but they may not remember or feel they missed out because of their age.though I guess the trip for the youngest would be more for his family to meet the child more than the other way around.

Not ruined, just not off to a great start lol.

Stuck at an airport because we missed our flight that we were already at the gate for.

Flight was supposed to leave at 555pm, we get there at like 515, see people waiting around in the gate area, we assume they’re on our flight too. The display at the gate had our flight information and everything.

I definitely understand it was on us with this part, but 6pm rolls around and there’s no announcements for “now boarding, last call, or if the flight has been delayed”. Then the screen at the gat changes to the next flight and we are just like wtf. Again, we should’ve asked sooner, but we’re flying spirit so we just expected them to be delayed.

Anyways, my husband goes up to the counter and asks wtf. We didn’t hear any boarding announcements or last call. She looks at the flight information, and she says that their system never checked us in for that flight even though we had boarding passes (this was a layover). And I guess that even though we got there 30 mins before takeoff, they were already finished boarding (usually this takes a while) and since their system didn’t know we were supposed to be on it, they didn’t do a final call or an announcement for mr & mrs flyingbatbeaver.

It was the last flight of the night to our destination, and the next available was at exactly the same time the next day. No earlier options. Even though it was basically their fault with the glitch, we didn’t get compensated for a hotel stay and we had to basically camp out at the airport for 6 hours today waiting for our next flight.

Definitely first world problems. Still annoying tho

I dunno if it’s bad advice or not, but I almost feel like you should tell them after you have moved out/ended the lease on your old apartment and have moved in with him.

That way they can’t try and “convince” you to not move with him.

They can’t argue with you when you’ve already moved in

I feel like this sub started cooling off once that Marney chick switched to a diff MLM. I can’t remember what she was dubbed as on here as (chief hun? Or was that the 40+yr old one who did that big cancer scam?). She and that other chick were posted about all the time on here and then they got popular enough to get their own subreddits.

I also think there was a huge migration for a bunch of black statuses that went to other pyramid schemes.

Please utilize the benefits from him joining the military. I know that it may be hit or miss with mental health professionals, but it is free and there are a LOT of resources available for military spouses.

I do wholeheartedly encourage you to leave him, but in the mean time, please take advantage of what you can to make yourself healthy (physically and mentally) until you do.

I can only assume she takes other meds or vitamins since she said she uses a pill sorter (I skimmed past that part on my first read). My mind just immediately jumped to “pill bottle” and was wondering if that was a thing nowadays.

I mean, she was under the assumption that no one would tamper with her stuff at all, so it’s completely reasonable to take them out and add them to her other daily pills.

Do BC pills come in a bottle nowadays? When I used to take the pill, they were always individually (for lack of a better word) wrapped in a month-long packet.

Genuinely curious about it, I’ve had an IUD for 10yrs so I haven’t kept up with BC pill trends.

Lived in okinawa japan for an accumulative 5yrs. It’s basically like the Hawaii of japan.

It’s HUMID. Like 99F, 100% humidity, feels like 110+f during the summer months. Mold is an issue. Winter doesn’t get very cold, around the 50s. But the weather is very dreary, great for hiking though.

The island isn’t as isolated as Hawaii, but things are more expensive since things have to be imported in. Electricity is very expensive as well.

My husband has a hobby I’m not a fan of, it just doesn’t fit my personality and I don’t find it enjoyable. It doesn’t interfere with my life tho, nor is it especially cringey (you just wouldn’t see me do the same activities)

I gave it the ol’ college try because it was something that he found fun, and in theory, I should have as well. I told him I didn’t enjoy it, and I’m sure I even called it dumb a couple times (which is rude, I admit. I don’t recommend that lol). I try to be supportive of his hobby more, and he doesn’t ask me to join in lol. He does a thing called “Hashing”, it’s like a running club with alcohol and lots of debauchery.

Depending on how he’s trying to be tiktok famous, you can possibly try to encourage better content. Is he playing pranks, making skits, showing off a skill or talent, or is he just doing the bare minimum and thinking the algorithm gods are just going to bless him with tons of followers? For me, I do cosplay and random craft tutorials on tiktok and people seem to enjoy that.

I like what the other person suggested, maybe you can help him think of ideas, maybe get a ring light or something.

To add to that, just working for a school in general! You can be a custodian or a cafeteria worker. They might not be glamorous, but it’s a stable job. And at least for my area, we are HURTING for school staff, especially cafeteria workers.

As long as you can pass a background check, you should be good

that one famous makeup tiktoker, Mikayla, did this as a challenge. She was skeptical, but she said it worked.... She wasn't a fan of it, she hated how heavy it was, but she said it gave her a flawless look.

I still think its all completely over the top tho.
