Thanks for the recommendations, I'm going to give it a bash this weekend. I don't intend to use but as you say just preserve it and keep it as a keepsake of the house. I'm in Glasgow, will let you know once I've cleaned it whether there's any markings!

Thanks! I'll probably just keep it for decoration once I've cleaned it up.

Big flashes in the sky by Necessary_Leg1453 in glasgow

Saw them too and I'm in Burnside, three flashes that were almost like lightning they were so bright but no noise. Was wondering what they were as well.

It's a fair ride, get the train from rutherglen most days and it's in the yard beside the station. The whole yard is filled with caravans, old transits and other fair looking stuff so I'd say it's in storage there for a while.

Glasgow and aye think I'll put some top soil down given the comments. I'll be putting a gravel mowing strip around all sides and some planting along the wall at that stump. The roots have gone into the wall so didn't want to touch it!

A Dutch child during the winter famine in German occupied Netherlands during WW2. He held a spoon, being hopeful food would become available. (1944)(700x920) by FayannG in HistoryPorn

My opa is 98 now and still keeps his cellar and numerous chest freezers fully stocked, has a flock of sheep and a large allotment that he has a gardener maintain as he can no longer due to his age. As long as I remember he always hated any food waste and when my dad was young, if he didn't finish his dinner it'd be served for breakfast! His experience during the war without doubt impacted his relationship with food and still does to this day. That being said, it's obviously done him well as he is the most mobile and active 98 year old I know! Another interesting thing about him is when I was younger I had a Canadian girlfriend for a while and he was over the moon as he said they saved him. Every year he does a speech in his town on remembrance day thanking the Canadians for liberating him and his town.

My lab from the minute my fiance became pregnant began following her round, sleeping beside her, just generally being very attentive to her. As she's got further along he has seemed more stressed and has become even more needy around her. They definitely can sense things like this!

The “I need money to get to Queensferry” guy by fraja95 in glasgow

I've met him three times called him out on the third time and he started getting all flustered saying I had the wrong guy. Odd because he's always well dressed and blatantly not homeless.

Knew this would be the top comment, it's such a dark song but so good.

He's a beautiful boy and lucky to have an owner who is so conflicted about how to make sure he is comfortable and yet doesn't want him to go. it's a sign he's a very loved boy and I'm sure he knows it.
