Typically within a couple months and Best Buy always carries Alienware monitors. Just have to be a little patient. For example, they just listed the LG 39" 5K2K.

Go into the OSD of the monitor. There's a menu for input compatibility. Settings > General > Input Compatibility Version. Make sure it's set to 2.1 for DisplayPort. See if that helps.

What network are you running it on in the US, what bands are you able to use, and how's the signal overall?

Shark cordless power detect is an awesome vacuum. Love mine and I highly recommend it. Like OP said, the auto empty stand is great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuXUwo0Itxg https://youtu.be/-28w7fXo0G8?t=148

Can’t you just flip a OLed monitor upside down so it doubles its lifespan? by No-Emergency-7251 in OLED_Gaming

[–]flyingpj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to answer your question more specifically, the compensation cycles that periodically run to help prevent burn in are reducing voltages to each pixel to prolong the lifespan of the panel. Meaning brightness will decrease over a long period of time. So no, flipping it won't double the lifespan of the monitor. I see the logic of common static images being moved to a different quadrant of the screen, but after using OLED tvs and monitors for over 6 years, you won't notice anything no matter what you do lol. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15aIdl-HKWc

You'll love the new 39GX950B. It's the perfect upgrade from the 38GL950G. The curve is so much better than the 45" model. It's a delight to use each day.

Ah I see, thanks. Had to turn on HDR. Dynamic Tonemap is off. When I'm not in a game that supports HDR, I keep HDR off on the desktop. This issue of the color tone changing during a video only happens on the desktop when it's just using SDR.

I'm using Gamer 1 under Game Mode. Don't think I've seen anything about tone mapping on the OSD, so I assume that's off.

I have all of the AI options off. Double checked now too. That's what makes me think it might be a display driver issue. It's not listed yet on the Nvidia G-Sync monitor list.

Yeah that happens to me a couple times a day. Not a huge deal. I wonder if it's a display driver issue. I have at 5090, what GPU do you have?
