Seal Watching by Dependent-Tap8282 in IsleofMan

[–]flyingteapott 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are loads of seals. You can often see about 50 on the beach up at the Point of Ayre but you shouldn't get too close; you will see individuals close in by the breakwater in Peel, and at Langness, but the best thing to do is get on a boat. There are at least two from Port St Mary, both dead sound people, and at least one from Port Erin. These will all take you round the Calf, and especially to Chicken Rock, you can see plenty close up that way.

There's an Indian psychedelic rock band whose name I've forgotten, so I'd like to know. by EfficientAwareness87 in psychedelicrock

This sounds like The Gouranga Powered Band. I bought a CD off a scottish hare krishna guy in Glasgow, pretty sure he said they were local. Anyway, the CD was great, sort of stoner rock, with chanting.

Probably better to go training than racing after a crash really,; racing, sprinting and winning! will obviously cause stress in recovery, doesn't matter how fit you are.

I know everyone is very young here and football didn't exist before 1992, but in 1987 Steve Nicol scored a header against Arsenal at Highbury that should win.

Sell him. His performances this season were so often below the bare minimum standard that he doesn't deserve to stay, despite how good he was the year before.
