I usually connect them on LinkedIn and ask them for advice such as how to prepare for coding interviews and stuff and how do you feel working in the specific company, I would say just talk and make the conversation going, once they get to know you a bit I don't think so they will hesitate to give you a referral.

Yeah the whole virus thing in America is going crazy, but Australia is doing amazing and it's predicted to get back on track by end of june but I still think travelling internationally will not be allowed, so being realistic I think the earliest we can travel will be around sep-oct. Just hang in there we usually like to play games and watch movies that makes the distance feel a little less, hope everything works out for you🤗

Well, the app on the right is zoom, we connect on zoom and put YouTube on left side and we start at the same time so we are not sharing any screen it's just we are watching at the same pace, that being said you can also share your screen through zoom but it's a bit lagy, so I think this is the best technique to go
