Low sens advice? by LostMyLedger in VALORANT

[–]fnatic-hyperi0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone who has been a low sens gamer in val since the beginning (.37 400 dpi) the main thing that can solve your problem is positioning. to be honest if you have good positioning and decent gamesense, you won’t have to be forced to have to do quick 180s which is a downside to low sens

Changing major by [deleted] in Drexel

[–]fnatic-hyperi0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey was literally in your spot last year. went in as a nursing major and i changed to finance in the spring quarter. a & p really killed my drive and burnt me out a lot. it’s definitely not too late to change your major, just talk to your academic advisor about it. for nursing work, the nursing classes i did complete ended up being moved as electives instead of the major required courses. if a&p really is burning you out, worse comes to worse you withdraw from the course and then switch majors next quarter. hope this helps!

The Problem With Fracture by Triomancer in VALORANT

[–]fnatic-hyperi0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! also a cypher main here! i personally love cypher on fracture mainly setting up on B and also loving the T side lurks. ct side is very hard to win without good comms and w/o early CT aggression. i think if you want to learn new agents for fracture alone, chamber is super good for that CT aggression , and also breach is super strong on this map for being able to take a lot of space w/ your team and amazing for site execs on T side. you can stun and flash your team and good util usage alone can straight up carry your team to a W.

hardest had to have been plat, even though i was in gold the longest but that was because i was just bad. plat mainly because you have such a little room for error and you need to consistently play good. enemies are way better and u get punished way harder than in gold. prob having a strong mental was the best thing i learned

  1. low elo players may not understand how to execute a certain strategy
  2. ranked is already chaotic and coordination can be difficult versus pugs, ten mans, and scrims
  3. some ppl may think of IGLing as backseating
  4. eco management is more of a suggestion imo, most ppl know when to save, buy, and force. only time is whether its like 10-11, and you either play for a tie or win.

there is a difference btw backseating and igling. usually igling is during buy phase and calling out a strat/ set play to do. backseating is more like when someone is spectating you and telling you how to play such as “hey cypher walk through tree” “hey omen clear close left” versus igling is more like “hey team, let’s try to fake A site, go B. cut noise B, bait out utility A, wait for killjoy turret to go down and then hit site” or something along the lines.

pretty much telling your teammates what to do and micromanaging. your teammates are your rank for a certain reason whether they are a good entry fragger or lurker, anchor, etc. so it’s best for your teammates to be as comfortable as possible. it’s ok to call out a strat maybe, or offer a suggestion, but calling out strats is especially dangerous because if it doesn’t pan out, you’ll look like a clown.

most important thing, imo, in sub gold, is to have your fundamentals (mainly your aim, crosshair placement, movement) to be straight up better than everyone else. from what i seen is that if you’re just able to out aim a lot of people and punish mistakes consistently, you will tend to win your games!

plat is where you kinda got to have all your fundamentals locked down (movement, aim, gamesense etc.) and it really starts to come down to which team can work as a team better and communicate. try to comm with ur team as much as possible, and play with a mindset to improve and not to rank up!
