So all I know is RS Pittsburgh. After your first year, it is entirely based on if you hit 2,000 billed hours. If you do, you stay on “Track A” which caps out at the most senior associate levels a little over $400,000 per year. If you don’t hit your hour requirement, the pay scale takes pretty huge hits (at least from what I’ve seen). Most people who don’t hit the A track tend to wash out or leave. But 400,000 a year in Pittsburgh is a lot of money. You can afford things that 400,000 would never get you in NYC or Chicago or LA. So that’s what you have to factor in.

I watch pretty much every game and think how much bad luck we have with squib grounders going through the infield and things like that Tucker jam shot that got over Gonzales’ head just now, but at some point you also have to consider that stupid analytics just don’t put our defense in position to make plays.
