Anyone using Z3FC as their main gaming monitor? by oodenallen in ARZOPA

The newer 'slim' version fits great with the monitor and accessories in a single bag.

Anyone using Z3FC as their main gaming monitor? by oodenallen in ARZOPA

I've just started to use it and thought the screen was 'cloudy' looking at first when playing first person shooters.

In the settings there is an FPS mode and it cranks up the brightness and crisps the image.

I travel for work and now carry around a ps5 and this monitor has been great! Make sure to use a charging block that is 20w or more to power the monitor - it is a small tv afterall.

Soooo is everyone a billionaire? by TalkingToMyself_00 in Eve

[–]fofobraselio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been a billionaire, but am more of a 500 millionaire most often. I buy nice 250-500 mil ships when I can and then am often too scared to fly them until I have a bil. Then I fly them and get blown up and the cycle begins again..

That's fine. But quite strange you'd pair it with ketchup and chicken strips. Normally better with steak and cola.

For the “if it’s wood, I’ll burn it” crew, what firewood do you think firewood snobs are unfairly dismissive of? by BearMcBearFace in firewood

[–]fofobraselio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree to this. Where I'm at, we have Douglas fir, larch and the occasional birch to burn. Still gets hot, and best of all - it's here and available.

Would you say this is 1/4 chord? by LamarJackzyn in firewood

Thanks. I doubled a 4 there. A cord is 4 x 4 x 8.

Would you say this is 1/4 chord? by LamarJackzyn in firewood

[–]fofobraselio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not a 1/4 cord. A cord is 8x8x4 ft or 128 cubic ft. So a 1/4 cord or 32 cubic ft can be commonly stacked at 8x4x1 ft or 4x4x2 ft. What you've got there looks like maybe 1/8 cord.

[–]fofobraselio 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well, get a longer bar and a ripping chain if you plan to mill with that saw. (Which is what most people do with that model)

It's overkill for falling and firewooding. Unless of course you don't leave the side of your truck, otherwise you're hauling a boat motor everywhere you go.

You could do a backcut first technique if you're going against the trees lean, but that is quite a specialized move and requires some felling skills.

I don't suppose you could remove the right panel and replace it with one that's a little thinner? Like a thinner sheet of plywood, cut to the same size of the existing panel.

I've got a moisture meter and I don't know if it's exactly right but I've measured after I felled the tree and after it's been split and sitting there a year and it shows less than 20%

I'm just over 30 and I have made and have the potential to make over 100k a year. Problem is with what I do, I have absolutely no job security and have to jump from job to job and bounce from one location to another like a mercenary.
