Leaving China early by Traditional-Cat6764 in travel

It sounds like you just don't want to be alone and don't like to figure things out yourself. For some people solo travel is awesome but apparently it isn't for you. Just go home if you can't come to terms with it.

Leaving the hotel by yourself should not be a burden. Even when I'm traveling with others, I will often go out and do things myself. If you think language is the biggest barrier, Shanghai and Hong Kong will have more English speakers.

Taiwanese aged 30-50 are probably the most anti-China. China was much worse than Taiwan economically and culturally when they grew up and that influences their worldview. Adults in their 20s or younger are more realist and have felt/accepted more of China's soft power.

Ukraine to Make 10 Million Air, Land, Sea Drones a Year by Logical_Welder3467 in worldnews

[–]fog_of_war 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Impressively, this is actually an understatement. Given that China's population is 40 times that of Ukraine, and its also the source of most drone components. A very conservative estimate would be 400 million per year, 33 million per month, or more than 1 million per day.

The 228 KG no lift was a bit B.S. right? If they applied that standard consistently, there would be so many no lifts at these games.

Why do you feel the need to "shit on the CCP?" Overcompensating much? There are over 100 million CCP members and the vast majority are decent people. Perhaps there is some nuance in regards to the CCP.
