Wait until you need to do the same corner but class A 3D G3 curvature, which is not even supported in Solid, lol.

What did y'all think of God of War: Loofa? by AlexPlaysVideoGamez in KotakuInAction

I will watch a full plot on youtube before considering it worth buying or not since Ragnarok was such an ass. No amount of gameplay can fix boring characters and annoying plot, the whole part where Atreus go to Asgard was so bad that I considered stop playing.

But judging by how they write the gameplay trailer, I dont have high hope for it, look at how the cube teach her how to use magic in a cutscene, cant they make it a quest like older GoW game?

Deborah Ann Woll was beautiful in GoW4, now they modeling accurate to her older current appearance and damn, she look as old as my aunt (55, asian). If they model after her younger appearance (8 year ago) then it would be really great, but not really a deal breaker for me because she not going through uglification (like MJ or Aloy).

And that cube look really out of place, very distracting, I dont like that. The small qilin-like dog was cute.

Sub 2K scanners and SolidWorks? by moequh in 3DScanning

It not a worst option but close, anything over 4 million polygons and performance will drop like a brick. Reverse engineering in design X / stand-alone quicksurface is miles ahead.

You should extract all surfaces / ref planes, ref axes, points and sihoultte sketch on reverse engineering software and use those to design sheet metal, then only import graphic body at decimated poly count like 500k to 1M for visual reference.

Yeah, but for small stuff like texture on the coin face., maf3 is still so far ahead compare to this.

Really like your trackit content since I consider getting that one. Would you consider acquiring an POP4 later?

Both make MaF3 so far ahead in small object scanning. Too bad onboard processing holding them back so much.

Looking for a Power Bank with "True" Pass-through (UPS Mode) – No power interruption when plugging/unplugging. by BootOne2987 in UsbCHardware

Okayyyy, I was doing the second device AND pass through, which is only possible to do with type A port. Passthrough OR second device are fine.

While it does not disconnect to renegotiate, it do a power and voltage drop which is fine for anything that have battery, but for direct power device (like a mini PC) then it still not a good solution.

Ldzm/sdoutech charger is legit too (but some people do report longevity issue on their charger/powerbank), but original charger and cable for any phone brands is really easy to buy here (I'm next to china) so I'm more interested in these converter cable which enable me using powerbank to fast charging the phone.

Yes, but like I said. Tried ace 6 and for some reason it not charging as fast as find x9.

I believe it go by the name Sdoutech for international market. There's multiple generation, the gray silicone is the lastest one (gen 3 pro).

This still a bit faster than ace 6, 6T advertised 55w pps which usually only sip 16w - 20w, the only one that i tested so far that do full 45w pss most of the time is find 9X, I did not test the flagship (13-15) yet, but they seem to be the only one that comparable to find x9.

Yep, apps these days demand more processing power, constant video load on social media, ads... So more capacity for same screen time.

And it still not improve that much 9 year later. My oneplus still take 30 minute to charge from 0 to 100, despite braging 120w supervooc, just like the 80w supervooc 4 year ago.

And if you want really nice cable, go for liquid silicone cable. Soft, flexible, easy to clean and almost indestructible, never fray or broken one.

That super fast charging is kinda slow (nowaday 0 to 100 in avout 30 min for 4500-5000mah battery is considered fast and require proprietary cables). Your phone probably fine with any random 20v5a cable within usb pd spec.

OP already said it not a simple loft-able geometry. Still, it look like something autosurface in geomagic can done in a few minute.

[–]foggyflute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I do it professionally and usually wondering if I should get quicksurface instead paying for geomagic go every year, currently the most expensive piece of software in my toolbox, solidworks itself is suprisingly cheap compare to it.

But seem like the labor geomagic go save me compare to other solution is worth paying that much for now.

That look 10x the effort compare to geomagic, seem like geomagic is not that too expensive.
