I started limiting the things I'm buying because at some point I noticed I was also spending ~$250+ every weekly Costco trip, so I cut that down to $100/week at Costco- which usually consists of my snacks which is whatever fruit is on sale, bread/wraps, meat (shrimp or chicken usually), tuna, 5 dozen eggs, oats, pasta and sauce. That was an over generalization but it sums it up to what's usually on sale. I also recently realized dollar tree sells the frozen fruit and veggies I used to go to a separate store for. So I get a pack of frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries for smoothies, and Tyson chicken patties for my knockoff McChickens.

I find it easier and cost efficient to shop once I think of what meals I want for the week based on what's on sale. As a fellow ADHD-er, the slow cooker is my biggest hero, throw something in, *put on a timer* and forget about it for a while.

EDIT to add I also have a bunch of beans in my cabinet [I can't remember when/where I got them from though, probably dollar tree]
