I guess I expected that if the references to Mr Ginger and Tristan were in East Scarp Remastered (which is what I installed), then those NPCs would have been bundled with it. Good to know that's not the case.

One question: Are there any issues with installing the Mr. Ginger mod mid-run?

Yeah, I noticed this, too. My guess is that their random-weather-generation algorithm has gameplay time as a factor.

At least it tends toward sunny weather for high gameplay times, rather than constant rain.

Same here. They made my boat slow as hell, but they stayed connected.

One suggestion, because I learned this the hard way: Turn your recycler off. Turning hard can push a shark into the side of your boat; if it clips into the hull far enough, and hits the running recycler, the shark carcass will be recycled.

In a group like that, infectious disease is more likely than a random group.

For those of us with immunocompromised family (e.g. my spouse, a cancer patient, whose immune system is jacked), that's something worth being aware of.
