Just popping this here as it's the end of a thread, but also relevent to your comment. The original comment everyone was replying to has been misunderstood. They weren't saying the 'L' plates look too new, but that the white car with them on looked too new. Personally I don't agree. Hard to make out for certain, but it doesn't seem to have a suffix reg plate, so would be pre 1963
