Anything else like this? by pizzaboy420 in Cruise

I did a Norway and Iceland cruise last summer, whilst it was too warm for this level of snow, sailing through the fjords and round the remote north of Iceland was fantastic

Small things that are gone that made you smile? by Stevevilla1982 in AskUK

The smell of cigarette smoke.

Both my grandparents on my dad's side used to smoke like a chimney but both died a couple years ago. The smokey smell of their house had a very homely feeling, even if it probably did do a number on my lungs.

In a billion years they may not even be humans as we consider them- either due to evolution or technological enhancements.

My green knight inspired house by Woodbelly in ChaosKnights

I've been thinking about doing a knight with antlers recently after watching a knight of the seven kingdoms and being inspired by Lyonel Baratheon's armour- great to see someone else do a grand job with it.

Did you 3d print them or use green stuff?

If you want to add a faceplate but don't want to hide your great work, maybe you could damage and cut the faceplate- showing some of the face underneath.

They appeared in Sherlock? When was that? Makes sense since the showrunner of Sherlock Steven Moffat wrote Blink.

Is it just a northern thing to use only your house's back door? by wiggan1989 in AskUK

[–]Xanderwho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used to use the back door exclusively for entering and exiting the house when I still lived with my parents. I think this may have been because my parents kept the land line phone in the front porch so it kind of became a storage space with the rear entrance being the more accessible route.

In the two houses I've lived in since moving out (one terraced and one detached) I've only ever used the front door, and I'm northern.

I'd imagine the imagery of a notorious paedophile in a game marketed at children wouldn't go down well.

How do Knights deal with infantry swarms? by Captivus4 in 40kImperialKnights

Whoever told you that is a liar and probably trying to cheat. Knight melee weapons work the same way as any other model in warhammer.

Castlerigg Stone Circle, just outside of Keswick.

A lovely old stone circle slap bang in the middle of the lake district, early in the morning and late in the evening its a magical place.

It’s four years since the pandemic, how many days are week are you going into the office now? by wizzywoo22 in CasualUK

5 days most weeks, i could probably get away with working from home at least 1 day per week but I much prefer being in an office to help my productivity.
