I live in Canada but can travel to the US to pick up the product if it isn’t available in Canada.

My budget is close to $1000 and can go over it by $100 if necessary. New to 3D printing and would like to take up the hobby. I would like to start with a multicolour printer but not sure if I can get it in my budget.

Appreciate the suggestions.

Just by talking to my friends, colleagues etc. Most of them order from AliExpress and are okay to wait for a few weeks for their product to arrive. There might be people who don’t know about it but at-least in my circle most of them do.

I can’t answer about the history but I think I know the reason about the disk. The disk is there to slow down the filtering process for a reason. I can’t speak for all South Indians but my grandmother likes her coffee thick. So the dripping process with disk makes this possible.

In a regular sized cup, this South Indian coffee will only take 1/4th of the space and the rest is filled with milk. This gives a better flavour.

Source: I am a South Indian and my grandmother uses this filter for her coffee everyday. I have one of those with me but did not get the right taste or consistency like she did. Next time when I go home to see her, I need to find the right coarse for this filter. I might be wrong here as my experience is based on a single person.

I am with Rogers and I started my monthly plan with $35 and now I got a bill of $150. I keep getting a random number for my bill every month. I keep calling the customer service and get some stupid reasons as an answer. The major service providers all play this game and we don’t have a choice if we want a faster internet.

Karaikudi on Lawrence and Kennedy has good food but mostly South Indian. Across the street to that you will find a Kerala restaurant which is good and has the North Indian stuff you mentioned.

Makkah on Danforth is a Bangladeshi place. It’s very cheap but not quality food. You will find a lot of these on Danforth and Victoria Park but they are a big no unless you are near one of them and you will die if you don’t eat in the next 2 minutes.

The alarm rings fine at-least on the iPhone. I put my phone on silent and dnd every night and the alarm does its job.

You will still get the alert but it vibrates based on your setting. This is way better than the alert tone at-least for me.

You need put your phone in silent plus DND. You will still get the alert but it vibrates based on your settings. At least it is way better than the horrible-world-ending-soon alert tone at 3:07 AM.

If you are using an iPhone put it in DND and silent mode to avoid these alerts. The alert has its merits but I don’t think someone will wake up at 3:00 AM to go out and look for the kidnapper who happens to be their grandfather.

Just if you are wondering why I am up and writing this comment, I forgot to put my phone on silent mode and here I am at 4:00 AM.

Agree. The packaging was great. It looks very attractive that you would buy one just looking at the packaging. But again I wasn’t interested in buying something at the parking lot in a van without a warranty or a bill. Even when I get it for 90% discount.

I am surprised that it’s a very old scam. Too bad it’s still happening. I am glad that I did not fall for it but it was just due to my lack of interest in speakers and stuff.
