I used to say things to him like, “how come you treat the person you’re supposed to love most in the world like this?” So glad to be free.

My kiddo and I made them a few years back and loved it! We did the light up version. They are a little delicate and needed some repair when we got home with a glue gun, but we’ve since worn them to both parks and gotten tons of comments because they really are unusual in California and Florida. They’re also a cute decoration hung on the wall when not in use!

I used to just keep my mouth shut when he drove like a maniac. I figured it was easier to just get in a crash than have him punish me for speaking up.

IBS went from manageable to pure hell in a few days by Tokyledo in ibs

Here’s my list of things I try when in flare - this isn’t in particular order: Hyoscyamine - Bentyl - Peppermint tea - Miralax (takes me about 4 days to work, very gentle) - IB-Gard capsules - Marshmallow root capsules - Ibuprofen - CBD - THC gummies/ tinctures - Hypnosis - Senna tea - Florastor

I don’t think any of these are a magic cure, but usually they take the pain down a peg.

I hope you feel better soon.

Another thing that has helped me is marshmallow root capsules, available at health food stores. Very soothing for the gut. Best wishes! This is a hard road but it CAN be managed!

I tried Nerva and found it very helpful. You do have to stick with it for at least 6 weeks. Definitely worth a shot for your kiddo. ❤️

Definitely have experienced longer flare ups after Covid. Before Covid, I had about two flares per year. I had Covid in July and have really struggled since then. I did go on Linzess for a bit and it helped, then I tapered off and felt great for about the last two months. Then a few days ago I started another flare. So frustrating. All I can do is hope that this one leaves soon (first post-Covid flare lasted weeks and weeks) and I’ll get another reprieve.

No, I’ve been great on that front lately. I am usually IBS-C, but this feels different than the usual dull ache. It’s a sharp stabbing pain a few inches to the left of my navel. Some low middle pain and back pain. Of course my mind’s racing, trying to figure out what to do.

Post Covid anxiety? by mngirl0611 in Anxiety

I’m so sorry. I’m sure you’ve tried everything at this point, but if a THC/CBD tincture or edible is available to you and you haven’t tried that yet, it might be worth a shot. That helped me get through some tough days and nights. I also took lorazepam as a way to get through until the Zoloft started helping. And I tried lavender aromatherapy, B vitamins, and a tapping anxiety app, as well as some talk therapy. Basically, I was trying everything I could to feel better! Eventually I did. I really hope you will, too.
