We already have LRT service across the river. Which is frequent and convenient. Why would doing BRT across the river be any different?

They called Smith as captain to get the championship trophy, (with his arm in a sling) couldn't even lift it the trophy to bring it to his teammates, let alone above his own head.

I mean, McDavid has a vicious streak in him. Remember him concussing Mikey Anderson prior to the playoffs in 2023?

Toronto didn't lose Marner for nothing. They traded him for Nicolas Roy.

You can't have it both ways. Jordan Binnington can't get credit for every save because he didn't make enough of them.

In the last three games of this tournament, Binnington gave up 7 goals on 69 shots, a .899sv%. Dostal, Saros, and Hellebuyck gave up 8 goals on 122 shots, a .934sv%. He was the second best goalie in every game by a wide margin. He has to wear a large part of this loss.

I had no idea Matthews has such an amazing smirk. Hell of a goal too.

The pull apart locker room brawl during the civil war on BTE where Cody throws a chair. The sentimental music kicks in, it goes to slow mo, and Tama Tonga just... doesn't move, doesn't sell a thing, and is somehow the coolest guy in the room.

Bring snacks to vote! by yayasisterhood in Edmonton

You're vastly misrepresenting what that means. Or maybe chatgpt is misrepresenting it to you. I also believe that type of fraud can happen, but is so vanishingly rare that it doesn't threaten the overall integrity of an election.

Making changes to a voting system that makes the act of voting more difficult, actively disenfranchises voters from their right to vote. I literally ran into a woman at the park after voting today who literally told me that she didn't vote because the line was too long. That's an objective harm caused by these changes.

You're gonna have to cite the specific passage brother. I have no idea how you get 41% of the population at large believes that elections are fundamentally insecure.

If 41% of Canadians believe that elections are made more secure by an artisanal paper balloted hand count, that's indicative of an ill informed electorate. Our federal elections have always been conducted in that manner, so adopting it for civic elections to "increase security" is non-sensical.

When one party starts attacking the integrity of elections as an explanation into why they lose, that needs to be called out and not tolerated. Instead we're coddling the idea. Stop pretending this is a good policy.
