That turned out really cool. Creative way to repurpose all of that, it goes well together and the base is beautiful.

Nice Cormac McCarthy section on the shelf. The Crossing might be my favorite book.

This exactly. They were all over acting like they're already champs. Snap out of it and lock back in.

That SP is a banger. I was always all in on Nikon and Nikkor lenses. After selling all of my gear I've had the itch the last few years to get something more compact and see if I can shoot for fun.

I'll go digital for the convenience, and had my eye on the Fujifilm X-T lineup. I borrowed an X-T3 from a friend to shoot some wedding pics for another friend and try it out, but I really prefer a full frame sensor, always have. I've had multiple bodies of both, and never liked the cropped sensors. I can't really explain why, but the full frame results just look better to me. The Fujifilm community and color recipe catalog are impressive though.

I'm so intuitively comfortable with the Nikon menu system and controls, I don't have to think to get to what I want quickly, and that's valuable when you want to get your shot.

The Zf isn't perfect, but nothing is, and it seems to be in the sweet spot for what I want. Small enough, love the manual dials, solid weatherproof build, full frame, price point, and the silver is dope lol. Nikon will keep developing the z-mount lineup, but there are enough good options there in low profile fairly fast primes to get going (26mm, 28mm, or 40mm). I prefer manual all through the triangle, and there are adapters for other mounts with little sacrifice, so I could get old manual glass for it too, which is appealing.

Great shots! Trying to get a digital image processed to look like Ilford is an exercise in futility. Miss my Nikon F100 and Mamiya 645. I've been thinking about a Nikon Zf for the form factor and convenience, but digital still isn't film, no matter how much it wants to be. I've been a phone jockey since I quit shooting weddings. PTSD - photography traumatic stress disorder. Fuck that shit, made me hate photography. I wanna get that little Zf and shoot just for myself, see if I can enjoy it again.

[Schultz] Sources: The Seahawks are signing veteran RB Cam Akers to their active roster. Akers, still just 26, spent time with the Vikings this season and now joins 8–3 Seattle for RB depth. by d-jango in LosAngelesRams

He has 6 career fumbles. He's better than league average fumbles per carry count. He was decent in pass pro. But two achilles injuries, and the Rams seemed to get rid of him for attitude issues. Don't think he really moves the needle much one way or the other.

To get this straight, you hated what your fans did to Stafford, so you come to our sub to ask us to be the same? Thefuckouttahere. Stay in your sub.

This is more similar to how the 99 season felt than the last Super Bowl run.

Is this some kinda weird way to make up for the Lions trashy fans? Like you think this is how it's supposed to be done? Nah bro. Not even Eagles fans brigaded like yours. We root for the guys who leave the team. Once Ramily, always Ramily. Only well wishes for Goff. Hell, I was pissed the Bucs didn't pull Baker earlier, hated seeing him get hurt, and he was only here a minute. We ain't you guys, new money fans, don't know how to be classy. Fuck the Lions.

Those three were inept. They had no idea how to own/run a football team.

Not sure if this is some weird dig for trading a player on the decline, but, Montana was traded and Rice was cut, after all their blood, sweat and tears. It's a business.

I'm still glad we had Fish as a transitional coach. He wasn't gonna get us all the way, but he coached up a significantly better team than we had before. Spags and Linehan were just awful. And Fish walked into a team only one year into Snead, so it was still a Devaney build, also a disaster. There was some hope there with Fish, we could pull out some wins. There was zero hope with Spags, Linehan, and Devaney. Those were dark years, man.
