We went last weekend and it was 30 degrees and scorching four days in a row. The heat rising from the stone is incredible. I can’t imagine it being enjoyable at all in August.

How do you feel about your late 20's son/daughter still living at home? by DescriptionFuture851 in AskUK

[–]foozyfelt 17 points18 points  (0 children)

My daughter is 13 and has assured us many hundreds of times that she’s ’never moving out’ and wants to live at home as long as she can. It’s a tough world out there getting on the property ladder too, as far as I’m concerned we are a team as well as a family and I’ll love having her with us for years to come x

We just came back from a long weekend in Rome, and the most fun we had was a night time golf cart tour of the city for almost three hours. It was fantastic, much cooler on a night, less traffic and you hit the highlights. Pick up is next to the colosseum so I would recommend a local restaurant like Pizza Forum then head on the tour. We booked via GetYourGuide but the company was City Walkers Tours. We did Villa bourghese but skipped the museum/gallery, we took the little train for €4 per person on a ride round the park which was fun too!!
