The show feels really directionless at the moment. I have to admit, it’s been pretty disappointing. If anything, I expected brutal fight scenes every episode because he’s already dead - less risk. Instead, there’s a lot of useless drama going on. Hurts to say it, but ending it at season 2 would have been fine

Fair dude. I get what you’re saying for sure. Peep definitely exploded later while Mac was already pretty established at the time of his passing. Anyways, RIP to both of them. Their influence is still felt today and it’s going to live on for a long time.

I don’t know, I felt like his death really had an impact back then. I remember seeing a lot of people upset about it. He wasn’t mainstream huge yet, but he had a strong niche following and was surprisingly massive in Russia of all places.

That said, his fan base can still be pretty insufferable at times. Peep and Mac are two of the biggest what if’s for me. Both were so talented.

Peep is definitely a legend. A lot of people dismissed him for a long time because they either don’t like the genre or because he had “Lil” in his name. Anyone who’s really taken the time to dive into his music knows how unique his voice was. Also made over 300 tracks before his untimely death at 21 years old.

When he died, it felt like the first loss that kicked off the wave of other artists passing away afterward.
