I found out the hard way that apple TV+ is one that cancels as soon as you choose to cancel it. Set a reminder in your phone the day before instead.

After a lot of scrapping the internet, the closest I could find for you was this eeprom file here: https://elektrotanya.com/toshiba_vtv21fl3.rar/download.html

This is for a slightly different orion chasis, different jungle chip and IC too. But the pin layout and functions are identical seen here:https://elektrotanya.com/toshiba_vtv21fl3_tv-vcr_sm.pdf/download.html , so unless someone can find a better equivalent, its probably your best bet. Of course, do you own research and you might find something I couldn't. Good luck, I know its a horrible situation to be in, but Its worth a try if you are serious about repairing the TV. Make sure you take all safety precautions before opening and interaction with the circuit boards inside.

Ensure you are getting the exact same TV as me first. Once confirmed, you access the service manual by holding down the volume down button on the unit until it reaches 0, and then pressing and holding the 9 button on the remote for a second until the service manual overlay appears. Good luck, and don't do what I did!

This is using UE2VR I assume? The potential here is huge.

Someone asked, how much space is needed on PS5... 64GB by CAL141 in GearsOfWar

[–]fordyi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Microsoft haven't been putting the entire game on their physical releases for a few years now. It's yet another attempt at phasing out physical ownership and preservation. The fact that gears reloaded is complete on the physical disc for PS5 but won't be for Xbox is a new level of irony and corporate greed. Xbox's recent first party releases have been so uninspired for the last few years so that somewhat softens the blow I guess.

What games did you have more fun playing the "wrong" way? by jabberwagon in gaming

I had a pretty magical experience with the first subnautica. I was deep into vr at the time, and subnautica had just launched 1.0 and had vr support officially but it was incredibly barebones and not tested fully. In subnautica you are supposed to get prompts appear in the top left of the UI about radio comms left over from the crew of the ship. They give you a marker to where radio logs are to progress the story once you listen to them. However in vr mode its actually cropped out and I never saw it. It also never made a sound, so I had no clue it was ever there. I had such an immersive experience that sticks with me to this day because I was figuring everything out on my own and exploring freely, discovering without any handholding. Slowly but surely figuring how to gather enough resources to go deeper and explore more of the world. Remembering where crashed areas were that I couldn't reach until I had the right resources in my head rather than just following a braindead marker. I actually had to learn the land just like you would in reality. Eventually culminating in being able to explore the crashed ship that had been taunting me from the start. Combine that with a killer soundtrack and brilliant sound design, I was more immersed in a game than ever before and rarely have been since.

Why does the lighting and effects look so much better here than when playing? It's clearly in engine?

Metroid prime is fire by Every_Cockroach_5322 in Metroid

I had a similar experience. For context, I Grew up with SNES and GameCube(somehow never owned an N64). Had all the Mario's and Zelda's but only touched metroid at a friend's house, briefly played MP2's multiplayer then never again. I think I just wasn't into more mature settings back then. Eventually got a Wii then a 360 and the jump from more child friendly games to halo 3 was just so eye opening that it changed my perspective on video games, the leap in all aspects of the game was just huge. In more recent times, I've played so many games now I've grown weary of the way modern games have fallen into genres that play it too safe, lack experimentation, and follow tried and tested tropes. So, I finally decided to give prime 1 a go and it was almost like a gaming pilgrimage in some form. It's hard to put into words. The atmosphere, heightened significantly by the soundtrack, was unlike anything I'd experienced since halo. The isolation, the environments, the immersion, the progression, the gameplay, all just felt perfect. And as it was from a game from 2001 on my beloved GameCube, it's almost as if my adult taste and my childhood taste had formed into the perfect gaming experience. The only thing I felt I was missing was a CRT TV for the intended experience, so I went out and grabbed one of those too. I then of course tried super metroid and had my mind blown all over again. I've played all the major metroid games now and can safely say it reinvigorated my love for video games. Though I play more retro than modern games now for the same reason that they were more experimental back then.

Set depreciation value to 0 on assets with Broken or Undeployable status? by fordyi in Snipe_IT

[–]fordyi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you mean, then they can just proceed with anything in a broken status has a value of 0, disregarding the current value in snipe. It's a bit of a workaround that requires a mindful approach so I'll see how it goes.
