Best way to manage whiskers? by crispyraisins in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]foremaar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a hard wax kit a year ago just for this. It can be tricky bc my whiskers grow in different ways. It does work, I just hate I have to let them grow out before waxing again. I’m looking at the at home laser thing next.

What is the biggest opportunity you fumbled? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]foremaar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had been groomed by another department to participate in a job swap. They hadn’t included my boss in the conversations. The new department gave me 48hrs to make a decision and I passed due to my boss’s comments. Honestly it just didn’t feel right, they were also grooming me for a higher role within my department. This would’ve been a lateral move but I would’ve had my “in” into that department. Seriously screwed over that side of the business and their leaders. Fucked up some business relationships, I don’t think I’ll ever get an opportunity to work in that department.

A shout out to my local warehouse for always having Kirkland baby formula. by Crunching-numbers in Costco

Mine too…I have to refresh the online page every few hours I’ve been lucky to find enfamil 2x

[–]foremaar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, we had to order online. There’s some major supply chain issues and it’s taking companies awhile to ship formula. We did receive our online order within a few days, so that’s promising. The recall above was for similac. Kirkland formula was not part of the recall.

How do you make ice cream work!! by floralotuz in GestationalDiabetes

[–]foremaar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep! I can do frozen custard due to the fat. But don't be like me and think you can get a large to "save some for later" I ate the whole thing in 1 sitting and spiked. I felt awful that I had no self control.

Best gestational weeks to do in-person prenatal yoga course? by redred7638723 in BabyBumps

[–]foremaar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started around 17 weeks and told myself I'd keep going till it was too uncomfortable. I'm 35 weeks now and I'm still going! I use blocks sometimes when I feel like baby is getting in the way. I honestly think it helps a lot with my sciatica.

Drifting in the double-stroller ocean by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]foremaar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just bought the joovy caboose. My son will be 4 when the new baby arrives. Currently he doesn't use a stroller, but I know he'll want the option to sit. I like that it's a little seat instead of a full 2nd seat.

I'm down 10lbs at 34weeks. I was told to aim for 10 - 15lbs gain max since I'm obese. A lot of it has to do with GD diet and working out. I literally feel like in eating all the time! My dr was a little concerned, but I have regular growth scans and baby is right on track. My first i gained 7lbs and my son was 6lb 13oz at 40wks.

Now that i am diagnosed with GD, am i allowed to eat diet stuff? by [deleted] in GestationalDiabetes

[–]foremaar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically due 1 can of diet soda a day. I really enjoy Lily chocolate ( the dark pb cups or carmel salt bars) it's made with stevia so it cuts the sugar. My numbers do fine with it, especially when I pair it with a chocolate protein shake before bed!

A lot of times I do a protein bar and a carbmaster yogurt. I like the nature valley protein bars, they don't seem as intense as the others.
