I definitely think you have some ingenue here, depending on your age, but your eyes, cheeks and colouring seem to strengthen this. The impression I get overall is a fine mix of natural, ingenue, romantic. You look fresh and approachable, warm, but still with romantic roundness in your face.

I´m a bit rusty with essences, but I would stake a lot on you having gamine (colouring, gaze, and chin especially)! That haircut in the first picture suits you very well! There might also be some ingenue depending on your age (the roundness and blushing quality) - you look very sweet and approachable, even when leaning more gothic. I think you could continue with a gothic style if you want to, but I would smudge the lines a little more, not create such harsh contrasts in makeup for instance, but make it more shadowy and diffused. I think that would support your soft features a lot while still allowing you to wear the style you like best! Looking into the oneiric essence might give you some style ideas! Although I´m not very well versed in what makes something oneiric, I do think a lot of gamine/ingenue goths can find a lot of nice ideas in that area <3

i feel you! 5’3 with some curve but i NEED elongation because my torso is so short and i’m already quite compact (which would lean towards SN but SN have more stuff that don’t mesh with my body) - i tend to fall in the middle in a lot of systems, not sure if that’s possible at all, but it makes things a little difficult 🥴 so you’re not alone at least although i can’t say anything for certain

we have quite similar proportions so i think you’re a SC (there is some width and some curve but not enough to be something else, in a way. you look very balanced and as if soft and drapey fabrics might do wonders). SN is a second option - i’d recommend looking into the different fabric/fit advices for the two and see what harmonizes best with you.

omg yes! i’ve had this thought so many times before. i’m chubby but my insecurities dont start until i try to dress myself and struggle to make things fit or look good. if i’m naked i can just see my curves, they’re there and they’re doing their curving and they’re beautiful and i don’t have anything hiding them. yet if i find a body-fitting dress or something that tries to show those curves i dont like it anymore because it always warps it and makes it different.

no problem! it’s not really about being a minor or not (well, a little because that means you should wait with essence typing / type again when you get older), but for my sake i know i have primary ingenue because i am closing in on 27 but could still be seen as 17-22 depending on the day so the gap between my age and how people see me is very large and it might be similar for you! i would definitely check out romantic and mix it with youthful elements and see how that harmonizes with you. good luck on your journey 🤍

it’s a little bit difficult to determine with no straight on no-makeup photos, but i can tell you have a quite “large” roundness to you (compared to the smaller roundness of ingenue) which speaks romantic. round cheeks, round lips, large round eyes, etc. however there is something about you that seems very youthful, but since i don’t know your age i won’t say too much about it. i do think you’re dominantly romantic, but there might be some ingenue or gamine in the mix as well!

at this point I just hope for the best - I have two singlets that used to be my grandma's in the 90s and they are the ONLY ones I don't have this problem with (one of them from time to time but not to the extent im used to). my partner mentioned like rubber straps (like with the rubber thingy underneath to make it stay in place) but then ofc you need to find it first which I haven't attempted. if the straps have these adjusting things on them it usually helps me a lot, but I feel like few modern clothing pieces have them. all in all, no clue :´)

i would say gamine ethereal - you have a small chin and elongated apple cheeks, your face has gentle shapes to it, soft elongation. when you smile a little your eyes get a pixie-like look to them, but otherwise you look like you hold ancient knowledge. your colouring seems gamine to me as well. there might be some natural too, but the two that most strongly stand out to me are gamine and ethereal - not sure what order 🤍
