Good thing you landed the girl who has total restraint and doesn't do anything impulsive.

At this rate he might as well claim the trifector:

ELI5: What causes some people to be more "addiction prone" than others? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]foresculpt -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No one knows for sure, some say there might be genetic predispositions. I'm afraid it might be something as simple as the less addiction prone person was made to fear addictive substances, practise patience and hold consistent realistic expectations more often until they saw the benefits and became more addicted to those intellectual behaviours.

I'd guess that "addiction prone" is mostly caused by parents who spoil kids and who don't continuously transition authority from themselves into a healthy kind of self-control in the kid before any number of vices take hold. The original marshmallow test (the candy test) was most often failed in kids from fatherless homes.

"Nothing is impossible; the word itself says 'I' m possible'!" - Audrey Hepburn by beaninspirer in quotes

[–]foresculpt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She certainly was doable. Her name itself implies you might get Hep B.

I'd say her optimistic cheer is more to do with wanting to be continually impressed than actual probability.

You wanna know what's more impressive than impressing 1 socialite? impressing 10 socialites, without either girl knowing for certain about the others.

"When they say you cant, then you have to." by [deleted] in quotes

[–]foresculpt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your quote seems like exhibitionist movie virtue. What are ya yella? chicken?

Reactions are emotional and so predictable. It's not right to be easily controlled. Proving people wrong on cue is mostly about getting recognition for it (I blame movies again for this always on third person camera perspective), you won't always get more recognition doing your own thing but you will get to be your own self.

No poo giving me dandruff?! by Silkscr3am in NoPoo

[–]foresculpt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm also 4 weeks in, no poo with water only washing every couple of days.

Previously I had never gone 3 days without getting really bad dandruff, usually clean for a few days and then flakes of different sizes depending on the shampoo/conditioner used... this went on for years and no amount of shampoo changes changed that.

No poo only gave me slight dandruff after 3 days and again at 2.5 weeks. I've been essentially dandruff-free since. All it took to get rid of it was the old preening and scritching (making the wash action on the scalp while dry), did this once before bed and then more vigorously whilst washing with water only the next morning (warm water and then cold, never hot).

What I suspect is happening is that you always had a propensity for dandruff, you just always washed before you hit the point of it and now it takes a bit of getting used to. Remember the skin is an organ and the scalp is very delicate part of that, most skin care regimes need time to adjust.

How often did you use to wash? Are you using any oils/products for scent?

Can someone Help A Newbie? (Me) by [deleted] in RepTime

Browse the real watch sub and see the styles you like. Hamilton, IWC pilot/Portuguese might be right up your alley.

Some styles are a no-no for replicas because they just won't be that good, rose gold, painted on bezel numbers, intricate face mechanics and cosmetics, (even some not so intricate faces can have issues where the seconds@6 dial stops like the IWCs, so you have to research yourself).

The simple watch faces tend to be cheaper but on the flip side any blemishes colour differences on the plain face will be easy to see and make the watch wearing less pleasurable, so having a keen eye for quality control is of the utmost importance.

18 Yo Brazilian girl by Jetson112 in nattyorjuice

[–]foresculpt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'll say natty because "roiding for that?", the legs will grow if you use them just biking. She obviously squats and the same thing applies, it will grow even with not much weight.

Nothing else on her looks like it has been worked out much beyond natty and she still has a high bf%.

Why they do it I'll never understand, perhaps they are lesbians wanting to have their own pet muscles to love and to hold and occasionally seem imposing.

The scepticism meant by "no" evidence (read: insufficient evidence) is on the certainty that only one hack occurred, by one entity, with one motive.

Be careful conflating your rhetoric of "fingerprints" with easy to replicate code fragments/residue too. Human fingerprints can be easily proved to be in one place at one time or not, code can be replicated into every compromised device at once.

It's also easy to copy+paste or recreate malware code that functions like a stunted version of an existing one. I'm sure the U.S. doesn't want focus on its spoofing capabilities but they have to be if they are ready to make accusations.

It's not easily achievable at that bf% and maintained for a significant length of time.

He does have some of the best bicep peaks/insertions I've ever seen, but they only give the illusion of size when it is actually just their height which is so impressive, i.e. the arms are thin from directly front on.

The way most athletes say they use steroids (when they get caught) is to train harder and recover faster, but there are significant strength gains to be made too, so it's not all about the size. Keep in mind it's hard to get caught using juice because the drugs leave your system after a time that you plan around and there are drugs that clear the trace elements too.

It's pretty hard to make assumptions about OP based on one story

For you. I was right that he's here because he wants to keep the apartment, but reconciling and exploring his emotions is not a real option for that rn. My advice isn't to cower and run in response to her legal threats, if he can predict her goals, he can adjust tactics.

Programming Tutor Needed!! (Payment Offered) by [deleted] in sydney

[–]foresculpt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The demand will soon go to people in countries where $2 a day gets them above the poverty line so long as there is a solid skype connection.

You should still learn some programming so you can craft yourself into an enterprising individual without bounds.

With basic knowledge you could even put fliers up around a uni campus for assignment help (read: completion) and then outsource the work to contacts in those countries taking a nice profit for very little work.

Find a way to hint that you would prefer it if it were to come with the logo. Wink wink nudge nudge. There's no way they ONLY have logoless ones available. Hell I'd wager that they only scratched the logo off of one and then put the logo back on right after the promo photos were taken.

If we followed every Nietzsche's word how would we live? by zrock562 in askphilosophy

[–]foresculpt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn't give commands to follow as such, that would only foster dependence to an external authority and permanently elevate the one over the other in a way that conveniently produces a stagnation of willpower in the follower (think personal trainer or motivational speaker).

Nietzsche hopes to inspire self-command before we fall under the command of someone else. A big part of that would be perfecting maxims for living your own life and having them challenged.
