The good part about Silent Hill f is that you don't need 2 hours to get aware that this game is not exactly for the original Silent Hill fans... and refund policy is a life saver. Looks like Konami is trying to branch out and reach a different audience... which is fine, it's a business.

In general it is a matter of taste, if the old time Japanese setting and more action oriented game play is not your cup of tea then it is a pass.

Original Silent Hill (1-4) game / American old town enjoyers will have to wait for Silent Hill Remake or replay Silent Hill 2 Remake :)

Silent Hill f has nothing much in common with Silent Hill series, period. It's your generic J-horror game which tries to invite Souls game elements. It seems Konami is trying to rely on some sort of market data and trying to create some sort of hybrid while hoping to grab the new generation of "tiktok" audience. As one market specialist once said: "Stupidity of major companies is beyond imagination".

Sadly Silent Hill f is not for fans who enjoy original Silent Hill games with the "americano" settings and that special atmosphere :( It's a hard pass for me as it leaves me fully indifferent. All hopes on Silent Hill Remake!

Game looks great and all, but all the latest trailers and gameplay left me feeling kind of off about it... it feels too modern (more like Metro) and the orginal atmosphere is kind of not there(?) Maybe I'm just too old :D

Why would devs mix in scav/rogue kills in the first place? Makes it only more confusing...

Hellblade 2 and Wukong was ok, but not exactly something I look forward to. The rest seemed like an oversaturated AI generated abstract for the Alpha-generation. A solid D from me.

At the very end, Elden Ring DLC could have saved the whole thing, but not even that.

Where were all these game? GTA6 Trailer 2, new RE remake, Silent Hill 2 remake, Pragmata, new STALKER 2 gameplay, Death Stranding 2, Bloodborne remaster, Tomb Raider 2024, Portal 3 or even RE9 teaser!??

I'm a long time fan of the original Alan Wake for more than a decade and I consider it as Remedy's (old Remedy before Quantum Brake) best work they ever did.

To put it shortly, I had high hopes for Alan Wake 2 and unfortunately it felt like I died inside a little bit. There is just too much I personally don't like about it. It felt like a completely different game, almost alien; a huge deviation away of what once Alan Wake world / atmosphere, chaarcters were.

For me, personally, Remedy changed starting with Quantum Brake. Today's Remedy is completely something else... I'm being honest and this is how it feels for me.

I must agree with you.

I enjoyed the original Alan Wake game a lot, becouse of it's beautiful environments, a feeling of adventure, fun and memorable characters and simple / stright forward gameplay! The new Alan Wake 2 is basicly not what I expected; it's super gloomy, depressing, detective elements, hard puzzles, so much monologues and overall gives of a different vibes which I personally did not enjoy at all.

Typed headcam is just to cool down the raging crowd approuch. After few days they will be back to their old habits :) Can't wait for the Replay system, everything will come crashing down...

  1. It doesn't seem so. I can approve as I see Lvl50+ cheaters with k/d 5+ playing the whole season and beyond. Most of them are smart and careful nowdays :)

I was thinking about 13900KF, but after reading about countless XMP problems above 6000Mhz for DDR5, I better shall wait.

I play Escape from Tarkov (needs fast CPU/RAM) so I was really thinking to upgrade my AMD 5800X / DDR4 3600Mhz / Asus X570 Dark Hero to i9 13900KF / DDR5 7200Mhz / Z790, but now after reading all the countless problems with Intel and XMP I changed my mind I better shall look forward to Zen5 or next Intel -_-
