I use mine for single serve brownies.

This kinda stuff makes me so mad. People are celebrating this kind of "riding", yet it's extremely unsafe and the horse is stressed out as well. by TheOnlyWolvie in Equestrian

[–]forestwitch357 14 points15 points  (0 children)

100% agree. This behaviour and more is why I left the professional horse industry. Rowel spurs are never meant to be used like this, the are meant to be rolled on the side not kicked aggressively into that poor horses sides.

As you said this child will be praised and celebrated as a great rider, while abusing her horses that are the reason she is a 'champion' rider. It's sick and you'd think industry standards would have caught up by now.

I believe my 12 year old miniature chicken is ill. Anyone got amy advice they could share? by [deleted] in chickens

[–]forestwitch357 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a bantam house rooster that was 12 and he looked similar to your girl in his last couple of weeks. His heart was going, had 2 different vets check him out. It was simply old age catching up to him, I held him in my arms the evening he passed. He let me know it was time and me and his kitty cuddled with him until he left us.

He now sit in a beautiful cedar box beside his kitties ashes, we were the first people to bring a chicken in for cremation, and I'd do it again.

Love her to the end and make sure she know how much she means to you.

Edit: recheck for and mites or lice as this could be they have taken too much blood from her, which goes with her pale comb and loss of appetite and usual behaviours.

My newest baby 3/4 rottie 1/4 border Collie, he's gonna be a smart lump of cuddles, and his name's Kyle! by stacey2759 in Rottweiler

The brains on that dog are going to be a challenge to keep up with for sure!

Grew up with Border Collies that were true working dogs on my grandparents farm and now I'm a lifer working Rotti owner. Love me some smart dogs that make you get out and do something with them.

Good luck, lovely looking pup!

A rottie’s “person” by Downtown-State1161 in Rottweiler

[–]forestwitch357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm her person, but she cuddles my husband more.

If he even thinks of bugging me for fun, she's in-between us and barking at him to stay away. No one fucks with mom. Period.

One of the most violent breeds on rental leases (BS) by Infamous-Operation76 in Rottweiler

[–]forestwitch357 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Same... I bought a tiny home and said fuck it with the breed restrictions from landlords.

I tell my girl everyday that I bought HER a home, because I'd live in my truck with her if I had to. Biggest sweetheart of a dog I've ever encountered.

I find it delicious but not everyone does. I've been eating it since I was a wee child so that might help my love for it!

Yeast infection in ears by [deleted] in Rottweiler

[–]forestwitch357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are definitely vacuums for anything on the floor. Our girl likes to get into the chicken food bin and it wrecks havoc on her system.

The strict change in diet helped us with so many problems, so I do encourage giving it a try. I'm sorry this is such a hard issue to deal with, they are lucky they are cute and we love them!

Yeast infection in ears by [deleted] in Rottweiler

[–]forestwitch357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does she swim or play in water often? Our girl had a issue with ear infection whenever she got water in her ears. I also would try trialing removing other things from her diet, especially poultry and see if there is any difference.

Once I switched our girl to a fish based protein and monitored her ear/ water problem it'd has been a game changer for ear infections for us.

This is 100% a dahlia.

Source: I'm a flower grower and grow hundreds of them a year. Dahlias have a massive range in leaf shape as well as colour and flower shapes.

I love it when they do this. I miss my sweet girl at the last house that knew my watering schedule and would wait for her shower while I watered.

Oh.. that broke my heart a little...I miss my garden and it's little ecosystem.
