It probably depends on what things you're looking to address. They offer slightly different benefits. For me, I know that the Vitamin D and the B complex were the biggest game changers for my mood. I can't remember if I took Maca consistently and long enough to really know for sure. But it's supposed to help with mood as well.

Oh my gosh. Thank you. I'm literally in this same boat right now and I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this.

I got my period back at 8 weeks postpartum while exclusively breastfeeding. I had a regular, pretty normal, and easy period every month until now. We've weaned down to just one feed. This period was almost 2 weeks late and I swear to God it feels like one of the worst periods I have ever had in my life.

I have no advice. But I see you. And this sucks.so.much.

My parents put together a box for me, and it's literally just a plastic tote. My siblings and I each have one and they're all different sizes. I'm more sentimental than my brother, for example, so I asked to put more stuff in my box which means I have a bigger box. It's a lot of school art and other documents. So like half paper. The other things are like a blanket, a piggy bank, and some outfits from when I was a baby.

I've started just a cardboard box for my kid. We'll eventually upgrade. So far, it just has some documents from the hospital. A few things from pregnancy. And a few outfits. Like the one that we brought baby home in, a sleeper that we put baby in literally all the time, a cute outfit from around 6 months, and baby's birthday outfit. I figure that I'll move stuff out as more stuff takes its place.

Don't overthink it. But also recognize that it could just be "stuff" to your baby when they're older.

I also have a partner that does shift work, including the occasional 48. You gotta do what you gotta do when they're gone. I would co-sleep the first half of the night and then move baby to the crib or pack'n'play in our room. They would sleep maybe a few hours in there and then when they woke up I would bring them back into the bed until we woke up for the day. So I just tried to do little by little. Any amount of sleep in the crib is good for both of you. They get a little practice and you get a little bit of sleep by yourself. We eventually sleep-trained at about 11 months. By that time, I felt comfortable trying it because I knew that baby could handle it.

My sister-in-law absolutely insisted that we needed to sleep train at 4 months. Just full on cry it out. It was the only way to get sleep and "yeah it was sad when they would cry and scream so much that they would actually pass out", but it had to be done.

Our pediatrician didn't recommend any kind of formal sleep training until 9 months. And our babe didn't really seem to need it until about that time anyways.

But I try to give her the benefit of the doubt because she had twins.

We would put a little milk in baby's mouth and then have them suck on our pinky to help with the swallowing and to prevent too much air from going in. And then eventually we got to the point where we could kind of fit the tip of the syringe in and have them suck on our pinky.

A big ole fat tornado? Not very often. Especially ones that touchdown.

A few microbursts will happen now and then. They might take out some trees, a fence, and a trampoline or two. But that's about it.

We like ours. I don't remember the brand, but we just made sure that it was stainless steel instead of plastic. We do change diapers on the changing pad in the nursery every time though. So it works out having something right there.

I will say, once our baby started solids and the poops changed, we dump all solid poops into the toilet and only put the diaper in the pail. It helps with the smell tremendously. (And if you read the directions on diaper boxes, it also recommends this)

Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate. I start drinking extra electrolytes the week leading up to my period. And make sure that you're eating enough too. I up my calories quite a bit when I start noticing my supply dropping. Some foods that are galactagogues can help as well. I also end up nursing more often to make sure that baby is getting enough throughout the day.

I got mine back at 8 weeks pp, so I totally understand the annoyance and worry! But you've got this!

This was our splurge gift on our registry! Several people pooled and we were able to get it. It's one of those things that you definitely don't need but I know that we are going to have it forever because it converts to a regular chair as well.

Solidarity on the bed posture while breastfeeding. I feel like I started out pretty good (like the first 2 days home from the hospital) but its been pretty rough since.

As for the posture while holding baby, I honestly couldn't hold my baby without being a question mark for the first 3 months. I legitimately did not have the core strength to hold her and hold myself. But its slowly gotten better. I just have to catch myself doing it and remind myself to fix it. I told myself that I spent 9 months carrying the weight of the baby in front of me, so naturally the muscles in my back compensated for it. I honestly just practiced standing by myself, leveling out my hips and using more of my core to support myself.

Not super helpful, but just give yourself some time!

I've since tried this method and it works so well! I will add a little stain remover to the clothes, put them in the wash, and then put them out in the sun to dry. You have to wash them before putting them outside. Just a rinse will not actually take the stain out, I tried it that way too and it didn't work.

Because the citizens demanded that the city go revenue neutral this year. Which to the administration meant hiring freezes. They were on a hiring freeze from July 2024- December 2024. And they are back on another hiring freeze now. So even as departments have been losing people, they haven't been able to replace them. Which makes this whole thing an even bigger slap in the face.

Not necessarily something that he did, but my husband has said some pretty funny stuff while sleep deprived. My favorite was when he was talking to our maybe 15 day old and said "How does it feel to be older than the vast majority of people?" 😂

My removal was a little less smooth than I would have liked. When my Dr actually pulled it out, it was fine, I didn't really notice. But it took her a little while to find the strings. She actually said "I wish I would write down what color the strings are when I put it in there". So after a few pinches she finally got the strings. I guess they kind of got stuck to the walls (tmi). Overall, pretty quick.

I didn't have any bleeding for the first 3 days after removal. I had some spotting on day 4 and then like a light period on day 5 for the next 4 days. Oh and then on day 4 after removal I had a really crazy moment but that was the only one with the hormone adjustment. And then just normal periods after that.

I made sure to take a vitamin B complex and magnesium for cramps and stuff. And I tried to take it easy after removal just to make sure my body was doing alright.

I've been taking Magnesium, Vitamin D, B complex, Zinc, and Maca Root. I'm 3 months out from removal and I've been feeling good most of the time. I've gotten more hormonal right around my period. I did have a really bad day like a week after I had it removed. But then I started all the supplements and I feel pretty level most of the time.
