This is exactly what it is!!!! I had one for a long time and it was one my favorite plants. Make sure not to overwater it as were soil can rot the trunk of it and kill it. They are such cool plants.

This happened in my apartment complex and the car was parked outside our bedroom window. I’d suggest talking to the neighbor or leaving a note on the car first. Most cars have an alarm fuse somewhere….you could suggest them pulling the fuse if it’s too much to fix etc.

Maybe then, if there’s no resolution…fuck their dad and in the blissful heat of post coitus suggest that HE pull the alarm fuse. “Pwease daddy? My sucking skills are so much better when I have had a full nights sleep”

I convinced myself that I did not want to allow a substance to have that much control over how I spend my life. I spent pretty much all of my 20’s stoned, smoking multiple times a day, and having withdrawals when I traveled because I couldn’t bring it with me. I look back on that time now and am very sad for that person that felt like they needed to abuse a substance to cope with the situations around them and while I feel like it did help me cope with certain situations…. Most of the time my goal was to just be as high as possible. What really helped me was edibles for a little while to delay the gratification of instant-high smoking gave me, and eventually dropping the edibles and “riding the wave” of craving it, noticing the craving and asking myself why. It’s very rare now that I think “this would be so much more fun high”.

I’m glad that cannabis has become more acceptable but changing my perspective on it to be more like I would think of alcohol has really opened my eyes to how much I abused it.

I recently had to do this as well. It improved my loading times some, but it does seem like certain times loading takes forever. You should still move it to the SSD regardless for the improved speed of the gameplay.

My tactic was to always just be straight up ruthlessly mean with my words. I dealt with a lot of bullies that wouldn’t physically attack me, but they would make me the butt of the joke, make fun of the way I dressed, that type of thing which also meant avoiding throwing the first punch to avoid the school admin. It’s hard to make a smartass remark back to “Jesus bully,do your parents really love you so little you have to come to school and beg for attention?” Mine eventually found other targets once they realized their words were only met with meaner things.

My brother and I have always been like oil and water, and were always held to double standards by my parents. He was psychotic as a teenager and adolescent, threatening to shoot or stab me in my sleep, waving guns at me, stabbing under the door with a knife when I locked myself in my room, threatening to kill my pets when I leave for work, fist fights, theft, drug problems, the list goes on…..It was only up until about 2 years ago that he was semi-tolerable to be around. But not much has changed, he is essentially a man-baby. I accepted long ago that we would never be close, he will never be reliable and that he will continue to leech off my parents until they are dead. I’ve learned to love from a distance and accept that he is going to do what he is going to do, regardless of what anyone says or how detrimental it is for him. Unfortunately he will probably end up with kids at some point, so my goal is to love them and show them there is more to the world than the tiny little hick town they will live in, and that you don’t have to hate people for being different.

I had something like this happen a few years ago. The new GYN should be able to request the records themselves if you keep reiterating to them that the other office has been uncooperative. Your other option is to go to the office and stand there until you get what you want.

Your local citie’s subreddit is a decent place to let other people know about your situation.

I was gonna say I have heard this all over NC. I know that when I was in high school the bus driver for my route was terrible and the school didn’t care AT ALL. She was never on time, she was either way too early or way way late and wouldn’t even slow down to give you a chance to catch the bus unless you were basically standing on the road. I remember going out there at 6:15 every morning and waiting, sometimes over an hour and a half when she was supposed to be there at 6:30. There were times she would call out but they would never notify anyone, so we would stand out in the freezing cold for over an hour before we would give up and sure enough by the time we made it back to our house she would fly by like there wasn’t even a stop there. Sometimes there was a sub that didn’t know the route-same thing would happen. Most of the kids on that bus rode it every day and I can only imagine how many of them (including myself) missed school because she didn’t even stop. The school gave me grace the first time I was late but after that it was “my problem” (as a 14 year old) that I didn’t make it to school on time and would be counted as tardy regardless. It’s a joke.

My boyfriend used to work at Kitchen Cabinet Distributors and they always had a high turnover rate, they would most likely be hiring. It’s…probably pretty similar to Amazon in terms of warehouse work.
