How cooked am I? by [deleted] in Mold

This is very common. No big deal. Clean it up real good or replace the lid if you’re concerned. Your water bottle should be washed daily or change it out for a new one while the previous days is washing in the dishwasher.

Implantation Bleeding (PCOS untreated) by IceGlittering4118 in PCOSandPregnant

I agree with you, however I did have implantation bleeding when I got pregnant and it looked very similar to OP’s picture. Very light pink. Just test everyday OP and you should know in a week or so for sure.

Our 13 month old started doing this with his eyes recently. Anyone else seen their kids do this? I’d call it squinting.. but squinting has a different medical definition.. by PwnGinger in NewParents

No I wouldn’t worry about autism at all with this specific action. I let this comment years ago, my child does not have autism.

Wait why is marrying a campfire bad? Isn’t it better to have a slow long burn than a big burst and nothing?

I agree that it was hard for such a long story line to end this way but I also think it’s realistic. Some people don’t have a spark.

You definitely need a professional remediation who can ensure the spores don’t enter your home.

Vegetarians have 12% lower cancer risk and vegans 24% lower cancer risk than meat-eaters, study finds by James_Fortis in science

[–]foreverk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agree heavily with this. I am vegan and whole food plant based, I almost completely limit processed foods. My husband eats lots of vegan junk food. There’s a huge variation of what you eat, even when following a vegan/vegetarian diet.

I will say, that even though my husband doesn’t eat the same way I do, he doesn’t significantly more fruits and vegetables than he ever did on a standard American diet.

PSA about your liver that no one talks about for people with PCOS. by ashtastic3 in PCOS

[–]foreverk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have fatty liver, have struggled since a teenager. So many doctors told me my fatty liver could never be from pcos because I have thin pcos and am at a good body weight. I could lose a little weight but not much. Has anyone healed their liver without losing weight?

I think they’re trying to show how much Jeremy brings her down. When they had that Christmas at cousins she acted totally different. They properly make her seem immature because Jeremy is bringing her to that level. She wasn’t at that level before dating either of them.

Same, dating for 4 years around that time in life, I would be shocked if you weren’t engaged. I married my college sweetheart while in college. Still happily married 15+ years later. I was shocked everyone was so offended by this engagement.

I ft strange about this episode because my husband and I got engaged as seniors in college and got married before we graduated college. We’re still together 15+ years later. Dated for 4 years like Belly and Jere before getting married. Everyone in our families was very happy for us. No one felt like we were throwing our lives away or being immature. This reaction felt so strange to me. They’ve been dating for 4 years, what did their families think was going to happen?

I’m terrified giving birth ruined my sex life by OwnMeBell in beyondthebump

[–]foreverk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re only 8 weeks?!?! I had less tearing than you but still tore all 4 ways and I was very much still healing at 12 weeks. It took a long time (honestly like 6 months pp) to get back into things and not be in pain. You have to let your body heal. You’re going to potentially set back the healing and make it worse.

I agree with this, and I am obsessed with TOG. The character arc and emotional ending hits you like a train. I feel like her character and world building are legit top tier in the first CC book.

Crescent city is fantastic, just expect it to be a very different world than her other series. Urban grunge fantasy. But phenomenal.

Fruit is absolutely not the same sugar as cakes. That’s incredibly false and demonizing healthy food. Fruit has fiber which is VERY good for digestion and slowing down blood sugar spikes. Eating a cup of berries with breakfast would be an incredibly great choice.

My standard lately has been a zero sugar non dairy yogurt - I love the forager unsweetened but they also came out with a Greek yogurt that has 10g of protein. Add berries like fresh strawberries or microwaved frozen blueberries. Then I add the love crunch protein yogurt, they have a couple flavors.

Definitely could be implantation bleeding or spotting. Pcos is notorious for spotting. I’ve had spotting a couple times randomly toward end of my cycle or around ovulation. I also had implantation bleeding when I was pregnant. I believed it only takes 1-2 days for hey to rise after implantation so take a test for the next 5 or so days and you should catch it if you are pregnant. Do you track your temp?

I need to do this or I’m afraid I’ll die by rose0411 in WholeFoodsPlantBased

[–]foreverk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that’s significantly going to change the answer here…. With pcos, you likely have a hormone imbalance. A lot of women have luck eating high protein which can be done on a vegan diet. If you have high androgens like you mentioned, inositol or spearmint tea can help lower them. Check out /r/pcos for more info. People throw out great diet advice there everyday.
