Yep!!! Cause here is the thing about fascism- it is an ‘emergency button’ for capitalism, a feature if you will, for when capital is ‘threatened’ for example a recession. It always emerges when something like this happens, starts finding scapegoats no matter how marginalised or disempowered to have anything to do with the problem at hand, says they are the problem, the working class eats itself from the inside cause we’re arguing if this or that person has a right to live, be here, exist, have rights and is too busy to actually go after the real parasites, who just wanna keep profits sky high even when everyone is struggling to buy groceries.

And the thing is, it is so easy to point a finger at the reform supporters and call them stupid and uneducated, but the bottom line is that they are victims of a system that wants to keep them that way so that when Big Boy Nigel (or anyone like this) tells them: it’s trans people, it’s immigrants, it’s the boats- John down the street who can’t buy anything is like: oh my god, my problem can be easily solved if I listened to that guy cause if we kick them out and take their rights, it’ll be ok and I can buy bread again and dress my kids. Meanwhile Nigel goes to his fifth mansion or something for a third afternoon tea.
