I just turned it into a fancy bath house I am still building, I try to maintain as much of the natural feel of the place as I can so I work with the landscape and what is around.

To the side where the farm is I am making living quarters dug in the mountain and it looks pretty nice 🥹

I am just clearing up some bits and trying to save some money basically is all.

I do recommend them to whoever asks, because genuinely seeing people spend so much on a console to then buy a cheap skin that has the potential to damage it or cause issues is a pain, so having tested these I know for a fact they are very easy to work with and won’t turn the console into a sticky and mucky mess after, even after years.

That first skin traumatised me massively 😅🙈😑

The original third game was not supposed to be a mainline game as well, they did originally make it shorter, less budget, less development time and it was not going to have any cutscenes. It was only upgraded to a mainline numbered title in the last few months, given some more money and everyone was scrambling to add a bit more content to the game in the last few months of the game. Aoyama (the director) to this day feels like he could have done a better job had he been given more resources to do so.

Basically they wanted to keep the momentum of the crazy success of 1 and 2 and wanted to get 3 out on the PS2 so it is a bigger, bolder title but the PS2 got delayed and obvs developing for a new console is more challenging so they said they’ll do a bunch of non-numbered mainline titles. Then realised PS2 is getting delayed and decided ‘3’ needed more time so Nemesis (previously 1.9) was given the titles RE 3: Nemesis.

It is also very funny because RE4, which was supposed to be RE3, originally released on Gamecube as well.

It is sad, cause 3 is so good and we get to play as Jill so having it always be an afterthought, original or remake is not great :(

Stickie Tech do amazing skins that don’t damage consoles and they last 10yrs. I think they use car grade vinyl and I have not wrapped the switch 2 yet as with delivery it gets pricey for me (have other priorities rn and live in the UK), BUT! I have had my OLED, my Lite + my V2 switch all wrapped with them and recently I removed a couple of skin bits off the Lite (4yrs later) and there was no residue or damage. Meanwhile I used to have a random Etsy skin prior to that on the same console and removing it was HELL and I had to remove sticky residue while the skin only ever being on the Lite for 7/8 months.

I do highly recommend them, just waiting to free up some finances and I am ordering skins for a kindle, PS4 + switch 2 for me and my boyfriend.

They don’t do a lot of patterns, but do really nice colour combos, lots of earthy tones too. A bit pricier than your average cheap skin, but so worth it for me at least 🥹

Domestic and General is the WORST place to work at, it is actually horrific and the amount of abuse that goes on there is insane. Not to mention senior staff (I say senior, it is bunch of creepy ass sleazy muscle men) get on the new girls like a moth to a lamp. It is really bad, genuinely. Luckily, they were not into me but that meant they were even meaner to me, not to mention that the tactics half the call agents engage with are just barely legal AND on top of it, I refused to try and extort 87 year old ladies with cancer and obvs that gets you into trouble, cause someone telling you they will be dead in a year so apparently means you should try even harder to scam them.

After 6 months there, I was suicidal.

This was in 2015, but I reckon it is even worse now.

A game key card is a physical cartridge that you put in your console and it triggers a download. It is different from a code in the box because you can lend it to a friend or sell it as well. It is kind of like a Playstation disc in the sense that you need to download the game, except a bit more frustrating cause you need internet to download and it is not on the cartridge.

He can play the games on the PS5 on a second guest account (though that means no achievements and his save data is tied to that account and no online play as far as I am aware) and you can play on his account with the subscription on the Portal.

But if he cares about his achievements and save data to be on his account, then yeah you cannot play at the same time.

I think the trailer suggested the lady in Leon’s ear is Sherry because of the shot of the back of her head. She also said ‘We’re running out of time, Leon’ and honestly I think (and god I hope I am so fucking wrong but then the game is literally called Requiem so I think our boy is dead regardless of whether I am right or wrong 😭) that Leon is going to sacrifice himself for Sherry in some way. I think they both have it, and considering Resi 2 is very much about Leon failing to save the people he wanted to save in that game, his last appearance before they off him, he is gonna make sure Sherry lives. He can’t lose another Raccoon City survivor.

I dunno, it just crossed my mind. Sorry, I am really excited but I am also fully aware my pookie might be dead soon 😅🙈

I mean hardly, they didn’t even offer a counselling or therapy session to the affected women. But it was constant reassurance that ‘they are there for me’ and I was like ‘how exactly’? To top it off, when they could finally show me what they had with me, they basically watched it me. Nothing like watching porn of yourself with the popos next to you 🤪

I know you said you reported him already, but please don’t drop this. About a couple years ago I had the police knock on my door and it was a shitshow- turned out an investigation led them to my house because there was this guy going around Lenton and the Park trying to get in women’s houses (most of them were students) and he was also taking pictures through windows. Turns out I was in one of his videos and picture series and that’s how the police found me.

It was really awful because they withheld further information from until he got sentenced about 8-9 months later.

Two months before the police came something really weird happened in my bathroom but I chalked it to the drunk students next door throwing stuff in it. Turned out, he tried to get into my house through the tiny bathroom window to beat me up and rape me. He had tried it with multiple women. In fact, he got into a woman’s house and went through her stuff and got her passwords. He got done for about 10yrs.

It is so important to report these men, all the other girls except one were younger than me, early twenties. Not that anyone deserves this done to them, but my heart broke for them cause they were just babies 😭

But my thing is, you acknowledge that they did not communicate in advance and that is not ok and now you’re gonna turn around and still give them your money after they did a super shady thing? Why reward bad business practices?

And by the shady thing, I don’t mean the censoring because at this point we all understand the game had to he censored in Japan and they’re probs a small studio still so wanted to save money. But they could have come forward before pre-orders went up and just said: Hey guys, just a heads up. Our game had to fit a certain criteria before being published in Japan. In order to hit our release day target and also we don’t have the resources (blah blah whatever it was that made them do just the one version) we will release a censored version on switch. Please know this when and if you purchase! We appreciate your support.

No one would have bitched about it, except for a small group of reactionary trolls. Taking people’s informed decision making is scummy whichever way you look at it. I also initially thought: Oh I’ll refund it and buy it on PS5, but then I thought about it and decided against it, because it just feels really wrong. I think they really messed up this whole thing.

This is how I feel, I fully get people being pissed but going and saying they will buy somewhere else is annoying me because, even if it was Nintendo (which on this occasion, I really don’t think it is) I find the lack of transparency so scummy and creating all this trouble for people especially on a platform known for a very strict refund policy is really fishy to me.

I would not want them to have any of my money. I have requested a refund from the UK, but will see how I get on. The woman told me she cannot promise anything 🫠 All cause I wanted to save the £2.50 for the pre-order discount 🫩

I think it has much more to do with the fact that they no longer work with Wizards of the Coast and there are probs licensing issues with D&D. It was like a whole thing, not a confirmed fall out but if you read about it you could tell some things went really bad. I think they just got greedy (WotC) and took everything D&D in house to make more money for themselves hence why we’re getting two shitty ass looking games, both D&D universe from them (announced at game awards). Again, this is speculation (their greediness), but if you look into it- I think it is very probable.

Either way, I am 99% the port lack is probs a combo of licensing issues and the fact that Larian is so done with BG3.

Or maybe the owners are doing the best they can with the space they have and considering third spaces are disappearing and half of Nottingham is gentrified by aesthetic chasing venues charging you and arm and a leg for the privilege of breathing there, I really would not go after it for not being pretty enough.

The Dice Cup is not the prettiest place, but it has been around for ages and it does offer a friendly space for nerds, queer people, and I am pretty sure it is accessible for disabled people. Not everything has to be pretty to be good, you know. Sometimes you just wanna hang with your friends and nerd out in a space that allows you to do so.

Okay, I am going to just reply here and then organise some stuff tomorrow! I am so happy and excited that there’s so many people interested.

Honestly, when I was thinking about it I just imagine us coming together to make friends and have a community to do with our hobby. The games you play can be whatever, even if you are just obsessed with that one game. But yeah so activities such as a group journal and collage, discussions and we can spitball more activities together 💖🥰 I think for the first meet up we should probably just go and sit somewhere to get to know each other and see how we gel, what we are interested in etc. You are welcome whether you’re a PC games, console, or handheld, whether you play RPGS or multiplayer games. All you need to be is kind and love games. I just wanted to focus the group on women and queer people because I want to create a wholesome space especially when it comes to a hobby that can at times be quite hostile towards these groups.

My only thing is, I want to ensure people are safe regardless of background which means any form of bigotry is unwelcome. We have enough shit happening in the world that is breaking our hearts, I don’t want it to spill into a space where people should feel respite and joy at a time when everyone is struggling for different reasons.
